I'm wondering that too Kevin. I saw a few on eBay and it looks like it could glow. Also, the eyes have been changed.

I feel very strongly on this subject in that Funko was built on a very specific 'look' and they were far and away the only company producing very good quality retro characters. Characters that are/were a retrospective nod back to the baby boomer era of hot rods, cartoons & the world of advertising mascots such as those for foods, drinks, cereals etc etc.
Having come back to the fold after a spell in the wilderness I was slightly sad to see that all this unique Americana is no longer their staple stock in trade, in fact has all but vanished.
There is a HUGE wealth of material out there and I know the demand will be there should they do something more with the likes of Nick, Phil, Diablo & co, not to mention the fantastic Rat Fink series.
Surely many of us collectors want to see more of the original guys and will snap them up?
As for Freddy, they have changed completely how he looks, unless i'm just barking up the wrong tree and 'popifying' something with dead black eyes is just one incarnation?
He should have remained the company logo and mascot untouched, continuity is crucial in the long term identity of a company.
Giants such as Ronald McDonald, Coca Cola, Peter Pez, Mickey Mouse etc, they always return to the original and best just how people like it.
"If it aint broke don't fix it"
Bring back the wobblers!! X

I understand, but again I don't think they will re-release retired wobblers. The only way is to make them in the new style of wobblers.

More original wobblers would be fantastic, but unfortunately I don't see it happening since the demand really isn't there like it is with pops or dorbz. Plus it's been confirmed that wacky wobblers are gone for good. But they did say more Funko originals in pop / dorbz form, which still is pretty awesome.

Freddy Funko I really wish was kept in wobbler form, even in addition to the pop/retro/dorbz Freddy. Although wacky wobblers may be gone as a whole, an exception for even just one Freddy/year in his original style would have been perfect for keeping that link to Funko's roots.

I submitted a question to the Funko podcast to see if we'd ever see a new Freddy in Wobbler form. I'd love me some more Freddy's!
