I don't know if you all know this or not yet, but I read this earlier on the Wobble World board, then posted the announcement on the "It's A Wacky World" board and I can't find a thread on this new new board, so I'll post it so everyone will know.

The 20" El Diablo is ready to order and ship out at Tower Records. It's at $49.99. I also read in the original posting on the Wobble World board that they have also lowered the cost of the 20" Bone Daddy by a whopping $10.00. So it will be at $39.99 for a month, or until supplies last. Just thought y'all would like to know that.

Yesterday I realized that I was still waiting on mine, drove out to Tower Records, but they closed down! In 2006!

Man, I loved Tower Records. My first job was working at McDonald's @ 15 yrs old and there was a Tower Records a few blocks away. Every check I'd go in and get one or two new CD's. They were the only ones that carried the classic Three 6, Bone Thugs and Do or Die. Memories...

Tower was the best! Chicago's a big city and I think we only had two.

I remember walking into the multi-floored Tower store and there was a 20" Diablo on every other step from the 1st to the 2nd floor. It was impressive.

I dropped almost as much cash at Tower as I have on Funko and I stopped shopping at Tower in 1995. I miss Tower but I bet my wallet doesn't.

When I was in college, I spent at least an hour a week in tower...

Tower was worldwide...i visited my brother in Israel back in 97 and went to the one in Tel Aviv. It was great because the CDs were so cheap, like 8-10 bucks a piece, and it was for the international versions with extra tracks! those same discs were sold in the import sections back home for 3x that!

I loved Tower Records. I spent quite a few checks there also . the Good old days.
