I haven't eaten yet, but it is in the oven...a Digiorno works pizza I doctored up with fresh tomato, jalapenos, green olives, marinated mushrooms, anchovies & added mozzarella on top. Over the top, maybe, but sounded like comfort food while I was getting it ready to cook.

holy cow that's a whole lot of pizza :D

Hmm....the Brides are taking their sweet time...lets see down the left side again...

Meal Magic wobblers, like the Spastiks, have their own special chair (though they rent out the bottom to a varied crowd)

Image Image Image

Minis, minis, and more minis!! A banks, sitters, the Halo 3 Honour Guard & Munster family! Holy cow!

Image

And of course the proto choir & Gumby serenade the crowd!

Oh...yes....Marvin. Well..rumor is that at least one of the four couples is part of a "shotgun wedding." Marvin's enforcing, so stay out of his way!

Yeah, me too Carol!

Thanks everyone for your kind words! It means a lot that you enjoyed the pics. And yes, it did take a long time setting everything up (here and there over several months), but it gave me a chance to finally see everything I had and to update my spreadsheet. I never thought that I would have filled the room! I nearly crapped myself!

Still, it was a lot of fun and I was thrilled to have the opportunity to share my collection with you! I just wished that my camera wasn't acting flaky.

And yes, T-Bone, the hanging lights are original to the building (and the enormous glass, um, globes/shades/whatever are quite ornately decorated, but it would be hard to tell from the photos. The lights on the side were, I believe, put in by the gentleman from whom I bought the house). And as for the Bender family, they aren't as far back as the El Diablo family!

Debbie, the pizza was absolutely delicious, as was the rather large whiskey sour I had with it.

Keith that is so cool - it looks great - glad to see you had all the Betty's in the "bridal" party - but I wouldn't have expected less from you.
That must have taken quiet a bit of time to set up but I bet it was a heck of a lot of fun!
Thanks so much for sharin' the pics you did a fantastic job!

Keith, I showed the pics to the girls at work today - they were floored - they couldn't believe it ! They couldn't believe how you would go thru the trouble of takin' them all out of their boxes & arranging them like you did. I said - he's a true Funatic, wouldn't expect any less. It truly is a magnificent job !

Good question...for now, they'll be there until the Spring (the room is pretty dust free) except that flocked snoopy is going back in its box for now (dust magnet). After that, I don't know. To tell the truth, I didn't realize how big my collection had become...so I have to figure out the best way to display them (or, yikes, to pare it back to something manageable.)
