Price's Funko Galleria

I finally let my son Price join the forum. He will be under the name BobbleHead Boogee. His brother too will be joining to help him post and post pictures. Price's entire collection is set up in a "true" gallery setting. From the display cases to the risers, everything looks really upscale. A sign is being made reflecting the name of what he calls it "Bobblehead Boogee's Funko Galleria"- A Gallery of Fun. Price is getting to the point where he would like to share some things regarding his collection and I will leave it to him to decide as it is his collection and I must allow him some freedoms. There have already been visitors to the Galleria who I am sure will be posting there stories and pics when I let them know it is alright. I have always been more private but Price wants to expose his things a little more and I have to allow him that discretion. Price is 9 years old and will turn 10 later this month. He is very knowledgeable about Funko and has an outstanding, awesome memory. Instead of Price roaming all throughout the board, I have asked him just for the time being to post within this thread. Give him time to start posting and between him and his brother I will wait like the rest of you to see what they do. Thank you guys for the overwhelming welcome that you are giving my son. Some of you know that Price only gets his stuff on Fridays. We do not bombard him with toys during the week as it would interfere with school. So Friday is a big day for him and well into the night and Saturday morning he is opening boxes and setting everything up and doing his own "wobbler dance" at the Galleria. With that said, please do not expect adult results. He and his brother will take pics but it may not always be on the time frame that we adults are accustom too. Also, we are leaving for 2 weeks since they will be out of school. So be patient, pics are coming. But again, thanks for the welcome and I hope to sign him on over the weekend and let him at least post a comment or whatever he wants to do. I dont want to coach him, I really want to see his naturalness come thru. We are very protective parents as some of you again also know that-lol and this is the first forum of any kind we let him join but since his daddy is on it, mom gave her approval. So we want to see just what he will post and what his thoughts are. Thanks again.

Hi everybody. I dont know what to say because I am shy. :blush:

My daddy let me join and told me I could talk about my stuff. He told me I could put some pictures up if I wanted to. I know he does not want me to do that but he said I can do it if I want. My daddy told me that there were alot of people who collect that said they welcome me and want to see my pictures. My first picture he said should be something that is a real picture of what I like. I dont have a favorite bobblehead because I love them all. My brother Evan put some bobbleheads together and said this is a real picture of me. He says I am never satisfied with just 1 bobblehead and not 2 either so he took this picture. I would take some more but we are going on vacation and my daddy told Mr Joe to clear out some more space because he is getting more cases from ikea. I want to see what else he has bought for me and put it up before I take a picture of all my bobbleheads. I know him and Mr Paul are flying somewhere and he told me to get ready for alot more. My daddy says charger is Mr. Carl the collector king. Thank you Mr Carl for being so nice to me. I like Mr. Dennis and he is uber nice to me lol

He likes the word uber and has helped me with getting my collection so big. I will always take care of his rat finks for him. He lives in a cool place that I would like to live in when I get older. Mr. Steve at Gemini is awesome and I like him to. He is the one who helped me with my name. I was going to call it the funko gallery but he said galleria is bigger than a gallery since I have so much stuff. I do not know what else to say but I am glad I can finally be on the board.

I got one more gold suit and one more black and white and one more pez that are displayed. My brother took these out of a cabinet where all the extras are that are not displayed on the glass shelves.

Well you never know what a young one will say. Evan, my 11 year old has a wit and I think the picture was spot on and reflects Price's personality to a tee. This collection has evolved many times and has morphed into going down a road that I never thought I would travel. But the picture kinda sums up his personality and the way he collects. He is never satisfied with just one and will beg, beg, beg, beg until I say "lets get it". I saw he even mentions, Joe who is a gentleman who lives on our property and does an abundance of things around the house and grounds. He calls himself the "Overseer". Joe however has been instrumental in getting all the cases put together and moved around. He also does a great job of getting rid of the many cardboard boxes, styrofoam, you name it that everything comes packed in. lol

Then I see he talks about a trip I am taking. Kid cannot keep a secret. :rolleyes:

But all in all he did alright I think for a first time board member at 9 years old. Again, thank you guys for your kind words. He views all of you and especially when he meets you in person in celebrity status. He likes all the different handles. Thank you all again.
