ISO Sleestak Wobblers Information & Assistance

Postby haastyle » Thu Aug 06, 2015 1:32 pm

Hello Fellow Funatics,

I have been collecting PoP!'s since last December & I want to try to complete a set of the Sleestak wobblers for my work desk. This will be my first dive into collection these as well.

There is just something about them that is unique and draws me in even though Land of the Lost was before my time. Can you help me out listing/showing the variants/protos/freddys and possibly helping me obtain them? Also suggesting fair market value at the same time? The one's I know of and can get are as follows:

LAND OF THE LOST WHITE GLOW SLEESTAK WACKY WOBBLER BOBBLEHEAD 2008 SDCC 10.99
LAND OF THE LOST GREEN GLOW SLEESTAK WACKY WOBBLER BOBBLEHEAD 2008 SDCC 10.99
LAND OF THE LOST SLEESTAK WACKY WOBBLER BOBBLEHEAD 10.99
LAND OF THE LOST SLEESTAK In the Wild 1/96 Made 2009 SDCC $45.00 OBO / Fair Value ??

Appreciate the help as always!!! =D>

I think most, if not all, of the Staks are pictured in my thread somewhere, called kroffty's stuff or something along those lines- I haven't updated in a while. :D

Thanks kroffty for the insight and the kroffty's stuff thread is so amazing! I am loving the FreddyStak & metallic paint test protos. The entire stak collection was impressive to say the least. If anyone has leads on any Funko Stak merchandise please let me know, don't have a huge budget but would be awesome to pick up some of the early SDCC wobblers. I will just have to go piece by piece as I'm sure everyone has.

Watch Ebay for the pieces. That is your best bet. Most of the collectors here are not going to part with their LOTL stuff.

sorry man, just the facts.........

Thanks kevin, that's true but I have seen some funatics help out so just asking everyone to keep an eye out for me is all. Watching a couple now on eBay as we speak! Just me over here amongst all these HOF's & COM's I am sure someone would love to keep the spark going for the older funko lines to a "newish" collector.

Any pricing information on what would be fair market value for these two variants?

NigthStak SDCC2009 Run of 96 :makeitrain:
WildStak SDCC2009 Run of 96

Thanks!

Hard to say. Most people feel that wobblers have no value, only POP where they made 80,000 of each character have any value.

You have to decide what you they are worth to you. Set a price and wait for them to come up at that price.

However, there were only 96 made of these wobblers and they were given out at the comic con.

To me the Sleestaks are priceless ;-) , but then again I am a funko dinosaur :roflmao: and a huge LOTL fan.

I could guess them at $25.00, but I might be way off.....

If they were POP and a 96 piece edition they would be priced at $200-$150 and flippers would be at work on ebay.

Again, set your own price and go from there.

I agree with Kevin's guesstimate of $20-25ish. However, most eBay sellers seem to want around $40, even though they don't sell with a price tag that high. You might try talking them down if they don't have the "best offer" option. For being a low edition, they do appear somewhat often.

As always thanks for the info! I just picked up the 2009 SDCC 96 Snowstak & 2009 SDCC 96 Sandstak for $19.99 each on ebay. Ordered both of the 2008 SDCC White & Green GlowStak's from Gemini as well for $23 shipped. Just have to grab the Nightstak but the seller wants to much, wait till it doesn't sell & he relists it. I have a feeling it will take me a long long time to grab the Freddy Stak, only listing I have seen was from 2011 :(.

Sleestak Freddy's a limited edition of 24, there just aren't a whole lot of those out there.... and I think by now most of those have found their way to collectors who are really into Freddys. It might take a couple of years, but nothing's impossible.
