How about a Western Exterminator wobbler?
How about doing a Western Exterminator wobbler? It's a exterminator company in the west coast. We have his stutue around here too. It's so distinctive, you can't miss it.

Resurrection of an old thread (where's a zombie emoticon when you need one?)
A Wobbler, or even a vinyl of this West Coast extermination mascot would be amazing! To my knowledge, it's never been produced in 3-D form for public consumption, I'd take one off a truck, but I'd get in so, much trouble. I know it would sell like crazy, especially at a Con!!!! Whaddya think folks?

I have to agree with Basil on this one......too much like Spy vs Spy to me. SVS would be cool tho.

Way better than SvS, and also predates them by 30 years! Western Exterminators "Little Man" was created in 1931, Spy vs. Spy didn't hit the pages of Mad Magazine till 1961. Plus, Spy vs. Spy figures and bobbleheads already exist, albeit, non-Funko. Let's come to a compromise, perhaps Funko could tackle both?

He reminds me of the W. C. Fritos guy from the 70's I believe. He would make a cool wobbler. May be a little obscure for the mass market though.

Obscure!? More like awesome, that W.C. Fields Frito guy reminded me of Merlin the Magic Mouse (also a W.C. Fields characterization) and Second Banana, two very obscure WB characters from the late 60's. I believe Jennifer found a naked Merlin toy made by Dakin recently. In any case, Merlin and Second Banana would make fantastic Funko Wobblers or Vinyls, even though hardly anyone would know who they were.
But, let's not forget the point of this thread, and how cool a Western Exterminator Little Man would be

I was thinking the Western Exterminator was obscure. The Fritos guy would be cool to do as well.

I've almost bought a Dakin Second Banana on Ebay a couple of times, always get outbid. Maybe someday. I have a Merlin Pez dispenser around here somewhere.

Re: How about a Western Exterminator wobbler?
Since it's close to Hallowe'en, I thought I'd resurrect an old thread
So, I woke up early this morning and for some reason the Western Exterminator man was in my head. There's a giant one on a sign by the freeway near my house and I always wonder if they'll ever retire him so I can buy it to put in my back yard. (I'm sure the neighbors would lovethat.) I thought, "I wonder if there was ever a Wobbler or a vinyl made of that?" A quick search on Google lead me back here to this thread. Bummed it was never made into a wobbler but that's not the weird part...
A little later this morning, a friend posted a pic on Instagram of an old rat trap with this character/logo on it. Supposedly, it was created by Wally Howard who was a sign painter in Los Angeles but probably better known as the father of Von Dutch. His skills as an artist can be traced back to his father's sign painting business.
Weird how stuff seems to flow together like that, huh?
