Very First Big Boy?

It don't mean a thing if it ain't got a spring. Come inside and chat about Funko Wacky Wobblers (bobble heads, for the less sophisticated).

Very First Big Boy?

Postby Peachtree » Mon Sep 28, 2015 8:49 pm

Hello!
I was wondering which Big Boy Bobblehead was the original one Becker produced as a Funko product? A friend of mine (who unfortunately is not on the forums) was wanting to purchase this piece of Funko history off of EvilBay and wanted to make sure he was getting the "true" original. Any help is much appreciated!
Thanks!
My name is Samuel, nice to meet you!

I think it was just a regular Big Boy, nothing special. They did a numbered edition for one of the Big Boys in Southern California. I got lucky and bought it from Mike's brother in Ebay. I got #1 of 1000.

The numbered edition of 1000 was the first wobbler ever produced by Mike Becker. If it does not have a number on a white label on the front of the box, then not the original.

I believe the Burbank 50th anniversary edition was numbered as well. I can't tell from the picture, I will need to dig mine out.
