Funko Big Boy Wobbler
So I just recently bought this for $25 and... I'm pretty sure it's real (the numbered ones are usually numbered?) Does anyone know how I can tell for sure that it's authentic? I already bought it so it doesn't matter a whole lot right, just curious. Appreciate any info.

Should be a red base I think instead of the white one that is on the later ones.

This is a red base thankfully.

I didn't get pics of the bottom. *crossing fingers*
And thanks Rob. Figured it was a decent price and... This is a piece of history to me.

Re: Funko Big Boy Wobbler
So I bought this and it seems pretty legit. Sticker on the bottom, base it red, etc... However this same seller has another 2 up now. And it seems the pictures are the same number as mine... Is it possible to have 2 of these the same number or did they just use the same pics? O.o

Re: Funko Big Boy Wobbler
Well there was 1000 of them, so its possible they had/have multiples. Same number though seems a bit strange. Maybe they just are using one picture? Only way to know for sure is to buy them and see if they all come with the same numbers or write the seller and ask if the numbers are the same on the other two.

Ah, that seller always has a lot of very very hard to find wobblers. Id bet they just used the same picture but have different numbers.

That seller is legit...they just use the same stock picture for their multiples too! I've purchased from them tons of times and they are a pleasure to deal with!

What's the difference in the numbered and non-numbered Big Boy? Red base?

Aside from the box, are the figures themselves different? Base color or anything?

Red base is the very first Funko product. The others are re-releases.

There was several styles made for the Big Boy stores also. The white base has several different things written on them. I have a red base, a regular white base and then a white base that is marked "Bob's Burbank 50th Anniversary". May be others that were done in limited numbers like the 50yh annicersary ones, would be interesting to know how many special editions Funko May have made.

There are 5 different Big Boy wobblers. Ranging in changes to the box to base color and writing on the base.
There are also 2 different Big Boy banks. The shoes are different colors.

Actually believe there was a total of 8 if the Funko field guide is to be believed..I totally stopped at 5 though with the regular sized Wobblers
Here is a comparison of the 5 I have for those that care..
Slight box face alterations, but only a couple with distinct sticker differences...
Out of box, many differences can be seen..from base color differences to font changes, along with a few different base labels
Lastly, there is also a matte finish vs glossy finish variance...

We as a community decided long ago that Glossy vs. Matte was not an issue because you can find that issue on several wobblers.

Was this due to a wobbler having a second or third run in production and it being an unintentional result?? Always love picking your brain Kevin Thanks for always being the guru of Funko info!!

Yes Josh I am sure that is what it came down to. We never received an official explanation from Funko, but that makes the most sense. It was also an issue on the Demonique wobbler too and there were a couple others, but I cannot think of them right now.
