Why is my Wobbler sticky?

It don't mean a thing if it ain't got a spring. Come inside and chat about Funko Wacky Wobblers (bobble heads, for the less sophisticated).

Why is my Wobbler sticky?

I got a Bart Simpson Wacky Wobbler (my first and only Wobbler) and I'm wondering what makes it sticky, and if there's a way to remove it. It's also still got quite a strong paint smell despite being in its original box since 2008.

Vinyl sweats and the smell is the vinyl outgassing. Pretty common with Spastik Plastiks too. I've seen other suggest you could wash it in warm water with mild dish soap.

Thanks for the tip I'll give it a try. I'm primarily scared of the stickiness being the paint maybe running loose.

Baby wipes work great when vinyl sweats, especially the really tar like ones

Didn't know vinyl could be so sticky eh?

Dish soap or baby wipes will work and not remove any paint or cause any damage.

I’ve used baby wipes before just to give them a wipe down..an easy quick solution.

I thought the "vinyl sweats" was what you got when you could see a chase from the outside of a store but had to wait for it to open.
