Sdcc
Back when funko was a bit smaller it was always my first stop at comic con. I haven’t been able to get into the booth for a few years, but I always loved buying wobblers. For anyone that has gotten in, is it just pops and dorbz now or do they still make wobblers for Sdcc? I have a few on my shelf and I would love to add some more

Doesn’t seem that long ago, then I realize it’s been 5 years. I had some happy tree friends ones from 2007, I miss being able to get them.

I wish they made some new Wobblers for SDCC but in the old style. Oh I see what happened, they lost their wackiness and just became Wobblers now

Re: Sdcc
you don't have to go to SDCC for new wobblers - lucky for you, Gemini is having a blowout sale and at the low price end of it is a ton of wobblers!
http://www.geminicollectibles.net/searc ... ry=wobbler
maybe u want a $2 Snake Eyes, Grace Kelly, Merle Dixon, or Barney Stinson (+ more)?
for just $3 there's Bumblebee, John Wayne, Kick-Ass, Where the WIld Things Are, Samurai Jack 2pack, +more
Now from $4-6 is where they really start to shine, with 2013 SDCC Metallic Iron Patriot or Metallic 1966 Batman, a 2pack of Speed Racer & Racer X, Green Lantern, Hanna Barbera, Popeye, Mr Bill, a bunch of the newer Star Wars ones, + more
$7-8 gets you Marilyn Monroe, Monsters U, Big Bang Theory (regular or Star Trek Uniforms, more Hanna Barbera, Iron Man 3, Superman vs Batman, & more
OK I have to stop bc I don't work for Gemini, but you get the idea! There's more SDCC and Glow in the Dark and Looney Tunes and even local ad ones like the Empire Carpet Guy

even at 15 i wouldn't have the means to go unless my parents took me haha, my first SDCC was 2008 and I was 26 years old, fresh out of college and had gotten my first carreer/job, so I was finally able to do stuff like cons haha

We won't mention how old I was when I went to my first SDCC but my daughter started going when she was 14 and at 19 she is still attending. In fact this year she is using her military leave to attend. I raised her well.

Funko in 2011 was relatively unknown at sdcc, anyone could go up to the booth and buy whatever they wanted!

It'll be my first year going to SDCC and have decided not to wait in line. All these stories makes it not worth waiting (in my eyes at least). I'll be happy to experience the entire venue and try waiting in line next year.

I remember getting that metallic Wobbler for my then-gf/now-wife at our first SDCC together. She loves Skeletor and that was the gateway piece that got her into collecting some Funkos.
I'd love to see Wobblers make a small comeback, even if it was just an anniversary piece or two.

yeah, I won't disagree with you on that... but for some of the comic con / Freddy / things or stuff you just can't find elsewhere (and Gemini does get hooked up with lots of goodies), it can still be worth it.
