Haha. Didn't Funko also make small vinyls of the Monster High characters? I remember seeing them at Walmart. Pretty sure I had seen Funko on the box.

After 500+ figures, I think my daughter is finally over Shopkins. I pray this doesn't start a reawakening. :P

Ugh, I hope not! It was hard enough trying to explain to her that the actual chase Shopkins were $300-800 and Santa wasn't going to be able to swing that. lol

I tried to tilt my laptop to see if I could look at the bottom of the box in the picture. #-o

The boxes remind me of the MLP vinyl figures. But at least I'll know what these are if/when people ask. We've got an entire shelf of Shopkins books at work.

As a father of 2 little girls, I'll need these. :( And since these are Walmart exclusives, why can I only find their listings being offered by ToyWiz on Walmart's own web site? Are these in-store exclusives?

These are FIRST to market at Walmart til the end of the year. After that they'll show up elsewhere. Thats how I read the blog at least. Walmart will probably list them on the website soon, but they are only JUST recently hitting stores. Check the Shopkins aisle first, if nothing there check the Funko endcap, if still nothing someone beat you to them or your store simply has not received stock yet. Ive spotted shopkins at like 4-5 WA walmarts already.

my daughter has a package of Shopkins, and is moderately into them but her friend is WAY into it. My daughter lost so many that I told her I wasn't going to buy them anymore. However, these look much larger so losing it wouldn't be an issue.

I have no idea what a Shopkins is, but these are really cute. They're definitely already in stores - found them in two Walmarts near me, and they usually never get anything. lol

We picked up the apple one just because it was cute. :D

Stay far far away. I didn't know what these things were until my nieces were coming to visit us and then I had to ask clashcityrocker what they are. We bought the girls some - big mistake....as misterjstewart said, they are softer than legos to step on but as others have said - super easy to lose. We have no clue whether those girls have lost all of their packs by now. They are both the most evil invention known to humankind and also the most genius business invention ever! You can easily figure out which aisle they are on by the tons of little girls swarming the section and the confused parents who stand there trying to understand why their kids want them.

I can't judge too much though - we buy them for the kiddos irregardless because we ourselves are guilty when it comes to Funko. LOL

Thanks for info, after re-reading the blog, It does sound like WM has 1st dibs for the Holiday season. I went by my local WM after work last Friday, and they had zero. They didn't even have a Pop endcap? I rarely shop at my WM just because of the fact their selection is pitiful.

When I saw them in our stores they were with the rest of the Shopkins merch, not the Pops, if that helps.

Last year at SDCC the Shopkins (Moose Toys--Australia) had a variant limited to 2 or 3000 that went crazy. It was carried by UCC and they had you stand in line and draw a ball out of a bag ... if you got the right color ball, you could purchase one of the Limited Edition Shopkins dolls. The line was long and there was a big buzz. Given this news, it won't surprise me if there is a LE Shopkins Funko at the Funko booth for SDCC17.

I remember this! my daughter just got into shopkins at the time. For once, i actually won something. I wasn't too keen on paying $30 for it, but when i had it in my hands, it was much bigger and awesome than I expected.

Yea, I know it seems strange to win only the opportunity to purchase something, but we do the same thing for SDCC badges, hotels, parking and a lot of other things relating to SDCC (there may be a lottery to use the bathroom this year lol). All kidding aside, I am really looking forward to see if Shopkins has another exclusive available this year and perhaps a Shopkins Pop because of their new relationship with Funko.

I buy them for my niece.

So far, she has three chases: Apple Blossom, D'Lish Donut, Kooky Kookie.
Weird how the second wave of chases came out of the blue.
Just one more Chase Cupcake Chic to find.
