FunKlub Question

Been collecting funko on and off since 2003, and on funko shop email says for fun klub members about contest , etc . Does this include members of original Funko fun klub ??

I'm sort of thinking they called the new one the 2016 Kit to distinguish it from the original one.

Do you remember when the 2016 kit went on sale? I totally forgot it was going to be an annual thing.

I believe it went on sale in the middle of May. I'll check my emails to see if I can find the exact date.

Did they change the numbering system with the new Funklub or continue from the original? I joined both, but obviously they have different member numbers.

2016 kit went on sale on 6/22. It was part of the Freddy's birthday month celebration.

They did, the new Funklub started from 01.

I'm curious if they will refresh the box every year or not...

Maybe a dumb question, but is this like a lifetime (until they make a new club) membership? Or is it $25 a year?

They did, the new Funklub started from 01.

June 1st was when they did the new one last year ? So then June should be when the new fun club membership comes out

I wouldn't like a new box every year, what's the point of that aside from getting new stuff? The original Pop to last years box changed after years, so that made a lot more sense.

I always wondered what the benefit of being a funklub memeber was? Never got any special deals or news or anything that was said when the 2016 membership happened

I like the idea of getting a new Freddy in a Fun Klub kit each year! I just joined last year and wasn't sure if there was a renewal each year or if once you joined that was it!

I'm new to the boards, and I just saw this in the shop. Does anyone who already joined have info about any "special offers" or "giveaways" they've done with FunKlub members? I'm curious what to expect when I buy it.

Every week (or just about) they do a giveaway for a prize pack. It's normally prototypes or a bundle of Funko Shop items. They used to give the winner 50% off all Funko shop items for a week, but I think they switched to the prize giveaways recently.
