This might be the first sub box I go yearly with...although to be honest In hindsight I should have done that with Smuggler's Bounty.

This will be my 2nd sub box. Admittedly, the first is not Funko (shocking!). It's the Nick Box. But I have been waiting for this sub box.

I wonder if this sub will garner more takers than the SW sub?

I'm wondering if the SW box is losing subscribers, maybe that is why they keep teasing contents now. I think it is quite possible that the Disney box might be the most popular to date

This may be the case – I believe there are already people from other countries who are planning on having their boxes shipped to US friends and then the friends forward it to them. This might be something you want to look into if it really is US/CA only.

I, for one, don't mind being one of these helpers. I probably don't want to be forwarding like 10 boxes lol but I don't mind helping out a couple people.

Their licensing agreement with Lucasfilm/Disney apparently required them to start showing some of the contents...now whether or not that was because of flagging sub numbers is another question.

For people paying box to box, I can understand that, you want to have an idea what you're going to be paying for. For those that subscribe annually, though, (at least IMO) I like having it being a surprise. Granted at least they don't normally post spoilers for everything in the box, but it is a lot easier to be surprised when they don't spoil anything.

It will feature movie and theme park items. There are many parks related characters that are also well-known Disney characters. If you're a Disney fan I don't think you would be left out if you haven't been to one of the parks.

Ah, ok, thanks. I read that somewhere, but somehow missed the word "movie" and just saw "parks". I know the first Pop is based on the movie Peter Pan, but assumed that was just an unusual thing we might see once in a great while. I'm not a huge Disney fan, but I like a decent number of their movies. I might buy some of the boxes, but would have to pick and choose based on themes.

I have a feeling that inside there's a
Hook pin or jack pic and maybe a patch?
Disney lanyard, socks, hat, shirt, or another wearable
Smee pop with maybe another pop
A dorbz or PSH? or a Dutchman and Jack heroes vs villains mini?
Disney items like maybe a PoTC Disney parks pin? Vinylmation? Jar of dirt? Lol

As much as I love Disney and I love me some Disney I do like other characters better than others. So if they are going to go the same route at smugglers bounty and "spoil" the pop I think I will just order on a box by box case

I'd actually prefer we stay away from the PotC movies in the box this time because we already have 2 Jack Sparrows, Davy Jones, Barbossa, and Elizabeth, only 3 of them are in the ride (now), and we are already getting regular releases for PotC 5. I would much rather see parks only PotC characters. Also don't expect to ee vinylmations in the box as those aren't made by funko.

Yea, that's what I thought because I have't seen any announcement from Funko suggesting a price increase.

I am so conflicted about this box. I wish there was some clue about the founders gift. I wasn't planning on getting a founders subscription just the occasional box here and there. I love Disney, but there are certain Disney things I am in love and obsessed with and others that I don't care about at all. Pirates (both of the Caribbean and Peter Pan variety) happen to fall under the not interested category so I wasn't going to bother. I'm just going to skip it and assume/hope that the founder's gift has something to do with Mickey Mouse which I also don't collect and try to make my peace with it and hope for the best!

Im really hoping its the same yearly sub price as the other funko boxes, haven't seen anything to expect otherwise but it is Disney and they can be a lil pricey. The 200 I can swing right now anymore might be a lil hard but id rather throw down for it now then try to swing it every two months

They keep saying that there will be Park Exclusives in the box... does that mean Funko products or Disney products?

Also, definitely looking forward to that Founder's gift! I bet it's gonna be amazing.
