April 2018 Disney Treasures: Adventures

I'd love to see another Indy pop! But a Jungle Cruise boat ride would be sweet too. Other stuff in Adventureland is Tiki Room, and Aladdin's Oasis. Technically, Pirates is not in Adventureland ... it's New Orleans Square. But you never know!

I just ordered mine and it wasn't difficult after I figured out I needed to go to "Order Past Boxes" and then the "Adventures" Box Order appeared.

Ordered mine today. Looks like they allowed me to purchase multiple (though I didn't). Definitely disappointed in the change for how long it took Funko to get this sub set up, but business plans change I suppose! Excited to see the annual gift as well.

Contacted funko regarding: "As of today, Friday, February 16, 2018, all annual subscription accounts will have auto renew turned off. Therefore, if you've reached your annual renewal date, your account status will move from an active subscriber to an account holder. Annual Subscribers not renewing will receive the current Adventures collectibles box.

As an account holder, you will:

Need to log in to your account to purchase the current Adventures collectibles box as part of the Disney Treasures Subscription service."

For the life of me, I can't tell if I am a "active subscriber", "account holder", or "annual subscriber not renewing" looking at my account. I would think I am an "annual subscriber not renewing" because the first sentence says annual subscriptions have been turned off, so i must be that, since it says my renewal was turned off for me and the last sentence of first paragraph says i will receive the box so i'm good.

but the 2nd sentence seems to say i am actually an "account holder", and the last part says account holders need to manually purchase the box, so I must need to order the box if I want it. Funko, can we get a decision tree or process map? ;-)

I ordered one just to be safe because it was confusing to me as well. If I get an extra and someone needs one, I am willing to sell at cost.

Since its the last one, I went ahead and ordered one. I went to look on the website but I cannot seem to find where it shows I ordered it. I did get an email receipt saying I ordered a past box, but not which one specifically. Anyway I'm not too worried, but it was odd.

Yeah I pretty much had the same confusion as everybody else I ordered it. Cuz I don't know where auto-renew would be turned on or off since they took it off of the site now.

The same boat if I get 2 I get 2.

But as far as my guess into what's in the box, I am going to go with a flocked 2 pack of The Rescuers. Which I would be really happy about.

But we'll see what happens in a month and some change

I would die of happiness if they had flocked the Rescuers. I used to watch that and the Rescuers Down Under almost every week as a kid. Some of my faves growing up.

Here is the reply I got from support asking if I being a Pioneer subscriber had to order the box manually. Hopefully this helps others also.

Hey there,

All Pioneer subscribers have finished their 6 box annual subscription and would have been due to renew as a bi-monthly subscriber with the Adventures box. So, you will need to manually order the Adventures box in order to receive it.

No doubt, I just bought mine before there was any issues. Not going to take that risk and miss out

Does this auto renew or did we have to buy it? I really don't like the whole non subscription thing. I do love the boxes though so you will definitely see me in line for them.

I had to purchase it, as the Arial box was the last in my subscription. And I too will be in line at whatever store the Disney box will be sold at. :drunken:

Everyone has to manually go in and order it. They turned auto-renew off and I don't know why......do they just not want to sell this one?

I think it is because we will no longer buy our Disney Treasures boxes directly from Funko after this April box. At the same time, there are some Funatics who bought the yearly subscription on a date after the first box, so their boxes don't need to be ordered because their subscription is still going on. They will receive a refund after April for the balance on their subscription they paid for in advance that would have given them more bi-monthly boxes if the program had not been cancelled.

Ahhh, that make sense. My sub was always month-to-month. I'm glad I figured out how to go in and get it, b/c it wasn't very obvious. The first Adventure was figuring out how to get the darn thing!
