Anyone else get an email about the year 1 Super box? Apparently it's only available for Founders.

Yes, and if I understand this right, it isn't the past boxes lumped into a huge box...but is instead a huge box of new Funko products. Is that your understanding too?

Super jealous of the founders, I've been a member since the start but couldn't afford to shell out all the money for a year at the time. Can't wait to see what people get in the box.

I believe it's for the year one subscribers, and next year it'll be for the people who subscribed for the whole year two.

I'm hoping this will also be available for Star Wars, too! Excited to see what's in this box, though. Even if I don't collect the line, still awesome to see what's getting made. For $125, the box doesn't seem TOO much bigger than the original shipment box, but maybe looks can be deceiving.

Funko has always tried to deliver quality boxes. It's pricey but I am sure there's a really good reason for it. Excited and can't pass this opportunity up!

I don't understand what considers you a "Founder", since I subscribed since day one.

Funko gets the same amount of money from a bimonthly subscriber then a yearly all at once subscriber. I just choose to use the bimonthly option as payment, my subscription has been current since day one. The only advantage was the gift, now they are changing the rules.

Sounds like the FBI now runs Funko. :razz:

As a founder we signed up for the full year & paid the full year price right away - every time a new box showed up it showed as no cost charged - you commit to the full year at once & they get your money all right then, so that's why

Hikari was my first thought when I saw the size/price point! Hoping for a unique Cap color way or the debut of a new character mold. About time for a Wolverine or Thor!

Heck, I would even be down for a new comic based Spidey in the same scale as the rest of the series.

They were pretty clear from the get go that if you went in full monty for the year and kept it going that there was going to be perks beyond just the annual gift. Even at $125 it's still a pretty sweet reward to know it's something just for Founders.

I get it, they are rewarding those who took a leap of faith and paid up front. Not to devalue the bimonthly system, it just leaves you the opportunity to bow out whenever you want unlike the founders who lock in ahead of time.
