Collector Corps 2017 and/or Year Three Speculation

I'm just interested in knowing what people would want to see for next year and in general for year 3 of Collector Corps. My theories are that all three MCU movies will get boxes. As well as an Inhumans box in August for the IMAX special and TV premiere in September. I have no idea for December. I also theorize that we will see a departure from the action poses. Collector Corps received a lot of flak for all of the action poses, but my guess is that they plan these boxes so far in advance that they couldn't change it. By the time Year 3 rolls around, I think that we will see something better.

Anyway, I'm interested in knowing what other people think. Do you agree with me? Do you have other ideas?

I don't have a problem with action poses.

We already know we are getting GoTG2 Pops at some point, so it makes sense that we'll probably get a box for them in April.
Possibly a Spider-Man box in June, but we already got a SM box this year, I don't know if they would want to do another box so soon. And possibly a Thor box in October.

Aside from those though, it's totally up in the air. They made the one box I wanted the most, X-Men, so anything else is just bonus. I'm personally kind of tired of the Avengers group, and would prefer they did something a little more interesting or unique. Wouldn't mind a Shield box, especially if they put a pop or two of characters we don't have in Pop form yet.
Inhumans would be cool and a box I would get without a doubt.
I'm also not up on current comics, so I don't know who is popular or worthy of a box on their own, but I'm sure Funko is researching things to see what might sell the best.

A Ghost Rider box would be cool, either with a classic Pop, or the current pop on a flaming bike.
If Marvel ever gets FF4 or Silver Surfer/Galactus back, boxes of those would be cool too!

Lots of ideas, but no way to know for sure what direction Funko wants to go.

Id like so see more ladies of marvel boxes, there still so many ladies who need pops (hellcat, singularity, aforce in general) I'm sure we will get boxes along with the MCU and the tv-vers(?) which makes is to be expected but id love to see some comic themed boxes too.

I definitely would love to see a Shield box at some point. But, would be open to see more ridez in the box, what I want most would be a Helicarrier with Nick Fury.

Did everyone have a problem with the action poses? I actually liked them, and wouldn't mind seeing more of them.

Here's my prediction for next year:
April - GotG2 (hope they get this right this time!)
June - Spiderman: Homecoming (this will be different from the 1st Spidey box since this will focus on the MOVIE, while the other box was more on the comics side)
August - Defenders
October - Thor: Ragnarok
December - Inhumans
February - Black Panther

Or maybe we'll get a few comic-related boxes instead of these ones.

I'm with you. The action poses that Funko has been making to me are wayyyy better than classic "stand there" poses. Boba from the smugglers box I think is one of the best pops ever made(speaking from a design aspect). And ones like Deadpool or Spidey all look awesome with action poses.

I'm not saying that I don't like the action poses, the molds are actually pretty good, It's just that in 2016 it was a 1:5 ratio of new characters to action poses (counting iron man vs Cap 2 pack as 1) and I wish it was closer to 3:3.

What If was my favorite Marvel comic as a kid, doubt they can pick out two or three issues to base the box around though. I can see a Spider Villain box coming this year.

My picks for year three based on whats getting released in theaters and television (in no particular order) are:

Inhumans
Netflix shows/ Defenders
Thor
Infinity Gauntlet
Black Panther
Spider-Man Villains

For the Founders box year 2 I would like the following:

Year 2 pin & Patch
X-Men POP! Vinyl two pack Rogue & Gambit
Spider-Man Tee shirt
Rock Candy Medusa
Doctor Strange Poster
Civil War two sided dobz (half Cap & half Iron Man)

IMO that would be worth the $100 something price tag. However I would like for it to be a bit more exclusive to the Founders ( as advertised) and not available at SDCC.

What do you guys think?

Change the rock candy to a pop/dorbz/mini and you are on to something. Still prob not worth a bill, but I'd buy it.

The year one box was a bit hefty in price considering most of the contents were not really appealing to the avid collector. The Hobogoblin was the only item I really loved out of that whole box.

I bought the Age of Ultron and Ant Man boxes at SDDC 2015 and thought I could buy all the boxes annually at the show in US funds and not get hit with the exchange and shipping. It wasn't until last year where I couldn't get the boxes I missed AND was able to pick up the Year One box that I jumped on the monthly train.

So I am confused. The Year gift is only for people who subscribe and pay a year in advanced, and not those with a year's worth of consecutive box purchases?

the Cap statue was only available for Founders ,but the Year one box though it was supposed to be an exclusive was available in limited quantities at SDCC last year.

The yearly gift is exclusively for those who pay in advance for a yearly sub. A bit of an incentive to do so.
