Planet Ego would be nice. I grew up w/ a different GoTG lineup so rather then movie merch, I always hope for something like the original comic Drax, Gamora or Yondu.

I love the original GOTG too! I'd love pops of characters like Vance Astro, Charlie-27, Starhawk, and a comic Yondu.

I'm taking a risk, but I've decided to get this box. I'm not a super huge GotG fan, but I'm hoping we get a regular Pop this time and not of a character we already have, minus a Ego Planet form. I wouldn't care much for another Groot or Rocket, but at the end of the day, I am curious what we will get.

If you're ever on the fence about a box, Funko now allows you to buy boxes right after they come out even if you don't have an active sub. This is exactly what I did with the Super Hero Showdowns box. I had switched my sub to inactive after the X-Men box, but after the SHS contents were revealed I wanted it, so opened up my MCC control panel and sure enough, it was available to order from the control panel under "shop member exclusives". I think I'm just going to do that from now on- wait until contents are revealed and then decide whether or not to get the box.

I've done that as well. You just have to have an account already, active or not. Makes life so much easier for me with the DC and Marvel boxes since I am so selective about what I collect from those lines

Yeah, I have founder status for MCC (which I am keeping), but now that I bought the SB Rebels box, I now have an account for all of them (except DT), so that is my plan from now on.

Oh, that's cool! Glad they finally did that. I have the money to risk it right now, but that is a great idea for any future boxes I'm on the fence about. Thank you sir!

DC have been spotty with the last couple boxes imo, I have no interest in them and MCC are doing ok because I like collecting the movie boxes but as for SB they always interest me.

This box I think is gonna keep me interested because I love GOTG It would be nice to see better boxes from the other two subs

Maybe I'm in the minority, but I don't see the appeal of an Ego the living planet pop. He looks like a madball with a pornstache.

I'm slighty disappointed , and I'm one of the people who liked the first GotG box. I love the idea of it, I just wish there was a little more to set this Rocket apart from the others in the series; a slightly different pose would have gone a long way. Also, I'm predicting a lopsided head on this guy.

Still have my fingers crossed for a Milano Dorbz ride. They were selling this box hard on the Funkast, saying the contents were amazing. While I know that's their job, I can't help but think they were referring to something other than the current reveal. We shall see!

Wow. I love GOTG, I love MCC, and I love Funko. But I am MASSIVELY disappointed.

I didn't buy the Gamestop Rocket cause I didn't need another Rocket and while I suppose it's cool to have him and Groot together THIS should've been the Gamestop exclusive. This box was an opportunity to get something great, like a Milano pop ride or Planet Ego. Even a variant of Yondu would've pleased me greater than this. GOTG is my favorite Marvel property and it's quite the bummer that I can't seem to get a decent GOTG box from this program. The rest of it would have to be pretty GD cool to appease this.

It's really a 50/50 chance most of the time. They don't want to take a risk and put Nightcrawler in the X-Men box, but are glad to give us Bullseye, Squirrel Girl, and Morbius.

I agree with both of you, it's a cute and cool POP, but they could have done better. There has to be something else really cool to deserve all the hype Funko has given this box.

I like it, but it seems more like a minor variant that you would see as a store exclusive rather than a sub box offering. I don't sub to this box anymore, I just wait until the contents are revealed and decide whether to buy it or not. I won't buy this one just for this Pop, but if the other contents are fabulous then I might be swayed

I thought the Pop was pretty cool. As some Funatics have already stated, they could have done so much more with the Pop and gone in a different direction (such as introducing new characters). Having stated that, I'm still pretty happy with what they gave us, especially having my top 2 fav GOTG characters in one Pop.

Huh. Interesting. The Mystique Rock Candy from the X-Men box is the only item from a Funko subscription that ended up in the trash. Couldn't find anyone in the entire family who wanted it. I would not be very happy to get another one of those ever again.

Such a huge disappointment. I was hopeful that we would get something really cool, especially with how excited employees of Funko seem to be for what's in this box, more excited than usual, but instead we get one of the laziest variants I've seen put into a subscription box. I was planning on re-subscribing for this box, but now I'm not. I'm glad Funko spoiled the Pop ahead of time, because if they didn't, I would of been extremely disappointed when I opened my box and saw this.
