So, is this going to be April, or June? I seem to have missed the closing date announcement.
I bought a Mystery Mini and thought it was cool. Now I have shelves covered in Funko vinyl products. What Happened?

The closing date is April 1st, but they are expecting to sell out before then.

On both the video and in print they are expecting to "sell out." What do you think this means. With other subs (SW) you could buy past boxes. Will this Sub be handled differently?

I wonder how much they are producing, compared to the other boxes. Be interesting to see if it actually does sell out, and whether that happens regularly or not. In comparison, Smuggler's Bounty has not had any boxes sell out (a few shirt sizes did, but not the entire box) until they took down the old boxes recently.

They probably have a specific amount of boxes as a "first run" batch, IDk how many exactly, but they're expecting/hoping to sell out of this first run I'm sure.
I'm sure they'll have them available in the future to buy past boxes like they do with the other subs.

Yea, to me it's a no-brainer. Disney and Funko teaming up is the premier collectible pairing. I liked Star Wars, but I have even greater expectation for these boxes.

My sentiments exactly. Our entire family (4) Subed SW the first year. We dropped SW this year so we could start the Disney Sub. We live near Disneyland so this is a natural for us. Also, though there is mixed reaction to the inclusion of the Parks characters, for us this is exciting and we can't wait for the characters from Bear Country Jamboree.

I'm taking that with a grain of salt. They said that pretty much from day one of the announcement, and at that time there was no way they could tell how well or poorly it was selling since it had just gone up. I'm sure they HOPE it sells out, but I think maybe that's just some hype and wishful thinking. I remember them saying that about the Year One box too, they said to hurry and order because it was going to sell out quickly. First it was offered to founders, then to regular subscribers, then to anyone that would buy one.
But it is Disney we're talking about, so it could prove to be a wildly popular box and exceed their projections. So it -could- sell out. I'm not taking that chance, I NEED that Ridez

I hear ya ... also they were selling past boxes at SDCC. Additionally, for the new Disney Sub, they say everyone is getting the same items in each box. I wonder if that means there will be no chase pieces?

Ooo, that would be cool. Or something from the Electrical Parade would be awesome. But my guess would have to be something related to the Haunted Mansion.

That's what makes the Disney Sub so intriguing. So many wonderful options that will provoke such endearing memories. I love what's in the first box, but can't wait for the reveals for the second box.Has anyone stated if there will be any Chase items in this Sub series?

I'm definitely excited for this sub box. I don't know if I believe they will "sell out". I thought these sub boxes were exclusive to subscribers only, but then they were selling them at the conventions when we are over here having paid for shipping on them. I wish the boxes were more exclusive to be honest. We'll see about the Disney one.

Yoko said in one of the videos that this Sub box would "sell out!" But what does that mean? They certainly are going to take subs through April 1st. Will they cap it then? Or do they allow the other two types of plans continue for a certain period of time? Or do they have a cap number in mind? Or when we get to SDCC will they still be selling them? Or after the first year will they cap it? There are so many variables, but I have a problem believing they are going to cap it before the end of a year, because so many people that are not aware of the program will become aware of it in the first year and want to participate.

The email that just went out encouraging everyone to get in on this box now and get the introductory pricing also mentioned a third vinyl collectible....speculate away!

I'm going to have to assume it's a keychain or something small. Suuuurely there's not a 3rd awesome Pop or Dorbz in there, right? I didn't realize there was an introductory price drop, either. Good to know! I like saving money.

I'm sure some boxes do sell out. Didn't the hulkbuster one sell out? Haven't seen that anywhere else.

So far "3rd Vinyl collectible" for Smuggler's Bounty has meant mini-Hikari (which are actually Dorbzish in size). I'm thinking maybe a mystery mini?

My guess is a Pint Size Hero.
