Oh, and btw Funko responded with some auto-response that didn't address the issue. She wrote them again and they haven't responded for days. As someone who has spent as much money with this company as I have, I expect better treatment regardless of if they are going to send the box. Not real thrilled with Funko at the moment.

I totally agree Tres. We can't expect Funko to have to deal with overages month after month considering the multiple Sub programs. They would need more and more storage warehouses just to keep up storing them.

Im not surprised this box sold out. The theme itself suggests multiple different franchises, extremely popular franchises are possible.

As Tres and SDCC mentioned, it's a combination of a great piece being advertised early and Funko is probably getting a better handle on production of these so they don't get stuck with inventory.

Just found out my auto renewal went through after I had an old card that was initially rejected. I am super excited, I didn't plan on being able to get this box after I thought my subscription had lapsed. Luckily my order was reprocessed last night and I will have me a haunted forest box waiting for me next month!! :D

Well, this was the first Disney box I wanted because you know, dragon, so I'm pretty bummed I wasn't able to get it.
Not the end of the world, but since I didn't want the last LOC or MCC boxes I figured this would be a good one to get. Ol'well, I'll live to spend another day. :D

So, maybe this is a stupid question: I wanted the Oct box, so I placed an order on August 2nd. Pay as you go. I got billed then. I then went and tried to take off auto renew. It said something like, "If you take off auto renew now you wont get your box." I took that to mean I wouldn't get my Oct box. That can't be right, though, can it? And even though I got billed, it says auto renew will bill Oct 2nd. Is that for the Nov box? I'm so confused.

The auto renew basically starts a new sub for you. So if you order then immediately cancel, it cancels from the start. It's not like you can just order one box alone. The system doesn't work that way. You could try to cancel after this box actually ships, but it may require the next box to go through.

I ordered for the first time on August 30th for the October box. As soon as I saw it was charged, I immediately took off auto-renew because I don't like having active subscriptions in case I forget. I'm almost certain when you place an order for a specific box you can't cancel the first box. That's how it worked with LOC and Smugglers Bounty so I assume this will be no different. You will get the box and you won't have an active subscription if you turn it off now. I just checked my order history under subscriptions and the status says assembly.

I might be misinterpreting what you are saying... but are you saying that you can't just get one box if you immediately cancel after the order is charged? Because I don't think that is the case. Or are you just saying that you can't order a box without a subscription you have to turn off?

I have the same issue. My account was linked to a card that was closed due to being sent a new card with a chip since the previous one didn't have one. I was told about being able to receive one if they are able to provide one. I'm hoping I'll get it because Maleficent is my absolute favorite. I'll find out this week.

SO I checked my account and they tried running an old card. I switched cards on the account and they didn't try again. I wrote and asked them to please run the new card. I got a response that said they will try running it within 10 days and that the cutoff is Oct 1st and that the box is sold out so they can't guarantee my box??? Um excess me, I have a subscription for these since they started and they should have a box set aside for my subscription. If I miss out on my most wanted box ( I love Maleficent) Im gonna be TICKED!!! Why would they not have a box for each persons subscription. The people who signed up for just this box should not be getting them, Im wondering if they over sold?

Hmm..I don’t have as much experience with the Disney box but with the other subscriptions, they usually send you a reminder to make sure your credit card info is up to date before they charge for the next box. If it is a box that’s really important to me, I typically go in and double check without being reminded to make sure nothing has expired.

I’m a person who also loves Maleficent and I just signed up for this box. I signed up as soon as I realized what it was. I’m glad that Funko doesn’t have the attitude that people who just signed up shouldn’t get a box.

That is exactly what happened with me. I changed my info to my new card and they didn't run it, contacted customer service, told the same thing. I was waiting around for about a week and then finally got the email that I got charged so there is still hope. Keep the faith!

I myself did not get such an email unfortunately. Luckily I'm getting my box but if I hadn't, it would've been my fault for not keeping my info current. As it is, I will be getting one of these and can't wait!!
