I hope part of the deal with these will be that all stores have them and put them on shelves at about the same time.

It would be nice if they actually figured out a way to make stores wait and release them all on the same day instead of Coast waves and then into the Midwest.

It will be worse because the the potential of dealing with different retailers in multiple countries. Coordinating a release on such a grander scale would be tougher. When before it was just the matter of the boxes reaching subscribers via the same output.

One retailer might accide tly break street date.
It would be awful if TRUcanada got it and Canadians would have to wait min 2-3 months before it even shows up in the system. Forget about not being spoiled.

It feels bad that these subscriptions will end, I wonder which stores will pickup these boxes.

yep! It's especially hard if you have outlets within a HUGE population of collectors/flippers lol Just hoping luck is on my side.

I hope the HQ will also stock a ridiculous amount of the boxes when it hits retail.

That would be nice to have at the HQ as well as the regular retail sale.

If I had to guess, target will get smugglers and walmart will get legion. Hoping gamestop gets one, but I'm expecting the big boys to get these.

Yeah, nobody was thinking about Amazon, but that has to be one of the best places for this to go.

-Still online only
-International Shipping
-Coordinated worldwide releases because of the last two
-Good prices
-Decent shipping

I'm pretty pumped for what's to come, especially August, October and December, when there will be no movies and we get to see Funko's creativity! OOOOO, maybe we'll se a first 10 years box! That would be amazing!

I wish they continued the subscriptions, but I guess this is an easier way for Funko to not have to deal with tons of leftover boxes that don’t sell well. I loved having my Disney box come right to my door every other month without having to hunt it down from a store, worrying about stock issues and such.

You too! My biggest worry about the boxes being in stores, especially stores like Hot Topic, is lack of storage space. They have very tiny stock rooms and these boxes are very bulky. But I guess we can always sit there and refresh the websites for our boxes.

Going out to find them is what I like least about it. Stocking issues is the thing that bothers me most honestly, not the hunt. Hunting is part of what this hobby is all about but some of the stores have stock issues due to their size (like hot topics have no storage space and the boxes are big some months).

GameStop has gotten a fair amount of exclusives, and their own exclusive box for Black Friday the last few years so it’s not crazy to think they could get one. Especially because with online they could be widely available. And with EB game available to Canada as well.

Def not crazy to think they'll get a box, I'm just not expecting them to. I think they are more likely to stick to the current practice and go the black Friday/random "mystery" box route. Believe me, I have hope I'm wrong.

Their pop tee line has been increasing and due to their “mystery box” route I believe they are best chance at getting one of them, since they seem to have the most and best experience with them, although I’m no longer getting mystery boxes from them. The amount of money you put in, you can end up buying the pops or trading for them outright when their values levels out after a few months

This is true, especially if you don’t even want the pop (just the shirt or other home good item it comes with).

They have been doing great with their Black Friday boxes. The biggest problem I see them having is the same asHor Topic, storage space. More of a what ya see is what we have situation.
