I thought they were ending the yearly subscription option. I got an email on all my yearly subscriptions that said they would switch us all to bi monthly and keep auto-renew on for us. I know a lot of others got that email.

They are after the current "year" ends. Now it'll just charge every other month.

I did get that email as well. The year subscription ends when your annual renewal is due and it will switch to the bi monthly subscription.

That ends after this box, MCC year ends in February. Starting next month it will be bimonthly only.

SO anyone else get a awful email today saying they weren't getting the Feb. MCC box? I got one today....said they had a "hiccup" and were actually out of Feb boxes but they were still showing as available online. I was super bummed. thats what my kids got me for Christmas this year. this was going to be my 1st Box. is this a common problem with Funko? I hope not. will I have to go back and re-sign up for the April Box? does anyone know?

The next box will probably be Infinity War and they'll probably make a TON of them.

So my credit card was stolen and I got a new one of course and when I went to update my MCC box with it there was no way to apply the new card to the Feb box. Funko told me "due to extremely high demand for this box we are not able to hold inventory for failed transactions." Very sad to miss this box. Especially if contents prove to be a home run.

It's a mystery to me why this box sold out. Only thing I can think of is Funko finally said "hey these boxes aren't selling that well, maybe we should make fewer" and maybe they made too few this time. The theme just doesn't seem that mind-blowing.

I think in general, the subscription box trend is cooling off. That's probably why annual subscriptions ended. They want more flexibility in frequency and pricing if things change.

Sadly I think both of these points are spot on. It's too bad Funko didn't make the initial boxes more limited, grow the excitement and then slowly increased production as needed. I think they probably took a big hit on some of the less popular boxes and will now slowly unwind these programs. I would imagine the Disney box will continue as they seem to have a much higher success rate at selling those boxes than others.

I am right there with you, super curious about the box since the theme is not super direct towards a property, assuming Black Panther will make an appearance, but then why wouldn't they just come out and say that is the them like they have with the past movie tie-in boxes. Kinda regretting not picking this one up.

This thread is full of some really god suggestions that I hadn't even thought of, when I heard animal instincts my mind immediately went blank on any marvel related animals, but also got really hopeful that it would be Hellcat

They came out with a lot of good black panther merch and any combo of these items would have made an amazing black panther box, even following previous formulas of pop with some minis and a shirt they could of done a killer box; while black panther has a killer run of Funko merch I am still on the side of every other Marvel movie has been featured why skip black panther for a theme like this. Just my opinion I had to get out there.


As I was typing this I realize I haven't seen much advertisement for the box, iv cleaned out my twitter so maybe I unfollowed the wrong funko twitters but I haven't seen a peep about this box there.

Am a founder and have being since box one and just checked and it says auto renew is still on so I'm confused I'm I getting the iw box or not? I'm also from the UK and can't seem to buy it and get it shipped here :S

I'm with Cameron, that patch is the best one yet! Go Squirrel Girl! Digging the shirt and agree with Sully that those colors are fantastic. Don't care for the pen and notepad but that's fine. Not a huge fan of the new Wobblers particularly their faces but since Black Panther has his mask on I think this one is super cool looking. And that Pop!... oh that Pop! is something else. I'm so happy we finally have Rhino! And the detail on him is phenomenal. I was hoping since we got the mini we'd get him sooner rather then later. Now we need Sandman! Solid box in my opinion.

This is actualey a solid box! Would have prefered a pin to the Rocket pen, but it's not a big deal. I do also like that they were still able to include some Black Panther stuff, even though they elected to not do a full box for the movie!

I'm interested in seeing if the RHino POP is Big in Box or regular sized. I'm hoping he's a bit bigger to look better next to my Spider-Man.

Good box! I like the shirt, the pop is wonderful, and the Wobbler is probably one of the better ones out there with the new design. Don't particularly care for the Pen and patch, but it's nice that they're included. All around a solid box!

this box is soooooo good. First time in a long time where I had no idea what could be in it and i was pleasantly surprised. The pop and tee are so good . I like it being a mystery. Hope it continues until they are discontinued. I know howard the duck is going to be happy. (funatic not marvel)
