Not really so quick, it's been live since December and yes, it was supposed to end on the the 15th.

Not really so quick, it's been live since December and yes, it was supposed to end on the the 15th.

Well I mean actually selling out. I cant remember since I always paid for the year up front. But I don't remember maybe 1 box selling out, the Villain's I think.

I don't think they release an unboxing until after it closes. I was hoping they'd do it sooner since this sold out, but I guess not. Can't wait to see what's in the box!!

I just really want to see some sort of action pose for Black Panther. I still can't believe that this isn't a Black Panther themed box. The timing just doesn't sit right with me.

There's an image floating around that says Spider Ham will be a walgreens exclusive, along with Spider-Man Noir, ManSpider, and a Spider Hulk.

Yeah, I'm not usually one to need explanations from companies for things, but I wish someone would come out and give us some idea behind why this was not a BP box. I am pretty sure that marvel/Disney has a lot of say on what box themes they do and when so maybe this was a decision that was somewhat out of Funko's hands. Or maybe there was some issue with what they planned for a BP box so they pulled the plug last minute. That might actually be why the box sold out. Maybe they had to switch gears last minute and didn't have the time to produce their normal quantity of product for the new theme.

Obviously this is all speculation. I'm good regardless though since they have a ton of BP pops with the regular line. Still a very curious decision...

I'm so excited for this box but I will say I'm also surprised that this sold out because it seemed a lot of being were upset that this was the theme and not Black Panther. My Hulk box got here the day after the spoiler so considering we didn't get one yet I might try and receive my box unspoiled which I've never done!

Just got an email informing me that due to a hiccup on Funkos end involving the amount of boxes made I won't be receiving this months box.... welp there goes my hype. :angry5:

I think they are transitioning and trying to figure out the numbers. As they do away with yearly subscriptions, I think they are trying to figure out who is going to keep auto renew on from the yearly subscriptions before they start selling so that everyone on auto-renew get a box.

I think they’re limiting the number of boxes made instead of having so many left over. They gave away a lot of leftover boxes last year for the holidays.

Yeah, they’re most likely trying to cut back on the losses if the previous boxes didn’t sell enough units

Possible. They also could be making these limited again, rather than a commonly available item as originally advertised. When they started selling boxes on discount, and individual pops overseas it isn't as good of a deal if you can just get pop for $10.

I think before this the only one that I can recall selling out was the Villains box in the 1st year. I was really surprised to see all 3 sub boxes sell out this time.

Yeah, you're right. I think it's smart of Funko to start making fewer boxes so they're not stuck with overstocked inventory.

I loved getting a free box last year but it definitely showed how much extra they were making.

I thought they were ending the yearly subscription option. I got an email on all my yearly subscriptions that said they would switch us all to bi monthly and keep auto-renew on for us. I know a lot of others got that email.
