Holiday gift? They gave a year-end gift to subscribers who were subscribed for the entire year, is that what you mean? Those have already been sent out.

I am just adding to what you have written. For some collectors, it is the age of entitlement. If someone get something for free it doesn't mean that everyone now has to get one too. If you do, be thankful. If you do not win a prize, be happy for those who win. Last year, subscribers were given free boxes and when they did received them "some" people complained about the free box that they receive. That it was a duplicate or that they would have rather gotten a different one.Just my two cents.

I know what you're talking about. I was subscribed to the Collector Corps box, and Funko wanted to gift me a random box from Smuggler's Bounty. I didn't get one this past year, but I also had a feeling that they weren't going to do it again either.

I believe the confusion here is from Dec 2016 when subscribers to the various Sub boxes were gifted a box from another Sub line (for example, I am subbed to Smuggler's Bounty and got the Ant-Man Box from MCC). This was a surprise (and a fun one at that!) but was not a guaranteed part of subbing and was not promised to happen again (and it didn't). The OP was not talking about the annual sub gift (that was guaranteed as part of being an annual subscriber), although they may have gotten confused by other people talking about the annual sub gift they received and thought Funko sent out the holiday gift box again.

Suffice it to say, never expect gifts or what not from Funko, and be pleasantly surprised when they do their random cool things for their fans, and you'll wind up being a happier person.

I didn't expect them per se but the surprises have had somewhat of a pattern so I could see how someone would miss it or come to think it was a routine. If I remember, we got a random pop one year for smuggler's bounty (I think I got the gamorrean guard (common) for mine) and the Christmas MCC box with groot and rocket bobblehead scarf and socks. It was a nice little surprise. As for the end of year gift...I still haven't gotten mine but wasn't really sure when it supposed to go out.
