Disney Treasures Annual Subscriber Gift Ideas

Postby Bookishkali » Fri Feb 02, 2018 12:10 pm

I’m thinking it’s going to be like a Mickey statue-but it would be amazing if it was like a popified version of the statue of Walt and Mickey!

My pipe dream is like a 10” Pop Disneyland Castle-but that’s crazy right? Right!

I mean, I don't think they've ever done just a building but one could only hope! It would be nice to get a Mickey Mouse statue.

I'm hoping the universal move away from yearly subs doesn't affect the pioneer sub gift :(

It shouldn't...when I reached out to Funko Customer Support, they said annual gifts will still happen for those who had annual subscriptions. So there should be the Pioneer gift, plus the Adventurer gift (for those who went that route after the Pioneer), and then that's it. Sadly.

That would be a dream, id have to make a Disney shelf just to put it in the canter, if not for DT then at some point we need Funko to make this happen.

I got every box this year, does that mean I get the gift?

I think it’s only if you paid for the entire year. That’s how I got my captain America statue. And that’s why I prepaid my Disney subscription, I hope we get something good.

That's good to hear. I thought since they're doing away with yearly boxes that there was no gift if you bought the year box. I also hope we get something good. The other yearly gifts for the other boxes have been subpar.

I hope its the Walt/Mickey "Partners" statue which would be ICONIC, but I have a feeling it will be a Mickey Trophy and I will be happy with that too!

The 10” castle idea is a great one. I’d be shocked if it came true, but would be awesome.

I would think we’d see either a Mickey or a Tink.

I'm with everyone else- the Mickey and Walt Statue would be cute but I really want it as a pop version- the statues from the other year subscriptions didn't appeal to me with the style they were created in. Like, they were nice but not my cup of tea. I'll be happy with whatever they do give us but I hope we find out soon! I'm sure I'll love whatever we get though- I'll have to find a spot just for it in my collection ;)

This is the one sub I actually want a statue for the annual sub gift, but it has to be that partners statue. Anything else and it'll feel like the other sub box statues, which didn't appeal to me at all.

How exactly will this work? I had collector corps, and was available to buy that one... Never did though. Also is it confirmed that a founders gift will become available? Was a little worried when they took off the annual option.

Side note, any news on Disney treasures continuing after the Feb. Box?

LoL, I have had that set opened for so long, that I ended up buying a large canvas tote to store the bags and dictionary sized instructions in until I get to it... I might start that during the summer!
