A few pages back someone mentioned that the theme was Under the Sea, but I cannot find any confirmation of that anywhere.
Was this announced by HT?

Thanks but I'm not sure I'm convinced that this is the theme.
The note from the thread just states "- More POPs coming out in July that are from "under the sea" but nothing specifically mentions the Disney treasures box. The box can easily be separate from the individual POPs coming out in July.
Not trying to be difficult but nothing is linked to the box at this point that I can find

I haven't listened to the periscope, so I do not know if Nerdette said it there specifically or not. I just remember reading comments stating that the treasures box was 'Under the Sea' in that thread. I don't have a dog in this hunt, so it is a mute point for me.

Under the sea.... hmmmm I would love to see a King Triton, 6in Ursula with Triton, Vanessa (Ursulas human form). I also could see a “movie moment” with the iconic scene with Ariel at the rock with the waves splashing behind her. I can’t wait for more info on this.

I was a Pioneer subscriber with the Disney Treasure. So I also hope there is a option to pay for the entire year. It's so much easier that way. I loved the 1st year rewards box.

Last year they temporarily had an option to preorder a subscription for the DT boxes. I'd assume something similar is in the works.

I feel like Hot Topic's price on the box is going to be double the price of what Funko offers (hopefully minus the shipping charges). Especially if we're able to use Hot Cash, Hot Topic would probably be losing money to offer these for less than $20 each? Who knows, though, since these aren't exactly like any other Hot Topic mystery box.

I love, love LOVE Little Mermaid and can never get enough! But with 'Under the Sea' as the theme I think there are enough movies that could have items in the box. Finding Nemo, Finding Dory, Moana, Pirates of the Caribbean, even Atlantis. While Atlantis is one of the more offbeat Disney movies it has a very loyal fanbase.
