Honestly, I think it'll be someone way more generally popular. My current guess is some variant of Spider-Man, or a villain that everyone's been wanting forever!

I'm hoping we get a new character but you never know

I think this would be a great to bring out newer characters.

I definitely plan to! So much more fun to go in person than have friends pick up things for me!

Did you make it to the store? How did your friend like it? I'm going to have to plan another trip soon - maybe in February, take the god-kid up and show her all the fun things!

It is! Gotta experience it!

She loved it! Her favorite was the Disney section. We spent about two hours in there. I got a few more pictures, including retaking a few that didn't turn out so well the first time around lol you should! I still need a third trip once my mom is up to it (she's still recovering from surgery). I got her started on collecting pops. She really wants to go

Aw, so good to hear stories like this! Yep, gonna have to take a 3rd trip! Darn, so sad....!

So then the 2 important questions here are...how is your mom's recovery going? (Hopefully well!) And will your mom be accompanying you on FCBD to get the box?

She's doing pretty good but needs to have another procedure done. So we won't be going for a while yet, til I can make sure she can enjoy herself there and she can handle being far away from home. Last year she came with me early in the morning for FCBD and waited with me in line for about 2 hours. She liked FCBD but was not a fan of getting up early and waiting in that line (she's been to SDCC multiple years, I'm surprised the FCBD line got to her) but she said she'd join me later in the day as long as she's not scheduled to work. I don't think she'll get this box though. Does anyone go with you to FCBD?

Always love FCBD and consider it a highlight of the year. My local shop always has their best deals this day. Looking forward to getting this box and am definitely letting my LCS know about this for preorder.
Love to Collect the 80s stuff. Also chasing the OG Rocky Set. First Funko Purchase was 2012 SDCC.

So is there supposed to be multiple pops or one pop with multiple variations?

Sounds like one pop. The variants are shirts and comic covers. So if you buy three boxes, you could get different shirts and comics but all the pops will be the same.

Neither my comic book shop and they are very good at this. Apparently they can’t pre order anything yet. So I’m pretty sure that’s the case with comic book shop as well.

I'm actually pretty excited to see what all will be in this box. I really hope it is someone totally new that hasn't been seen yet. A classic Bucky would be super dope if it has to be a new version of someone we have seen before.

This is great news. First I'm hearing of it, but a collectible box that is actually a mystery build around a Funko stylized comic has me in.

Hmmmm I guess I’ll pre-order one of each and see how that goes :)

Aren't they blind though? You could end up with 3 exactly the same boxes?

My store did preorders. They were labeled in the system as Box A, B or C ... so we will see :happy6: :happy6: :happy6:

I preordered myself box C. I think the difference is the comic book and the shirt.

My comic store recently moved, and the location is going to get SO much more traffic! I honestly think I'm going to have to get there at like 6 am to be close to the front!

Of course....if my comic vendor will hold this for me, I can sleep in a little bit..!

That’s good.

I am sorry to hear things might be crazy for your FCBD. I hope that you are able to get one held so you don’t need to be in line so early.

Thanks! I mean, I hope he gets a big crowd with people buying lots of stuff...!

Got an email from my vendor today asking what shirt size I needed for the box! I'll double check with him, of course, but to me that means he'll hold my box back for me! YAY! One less thing to worry about. Now just have to keep wondering who the pop is, and what the variants of the comic are, and what the shirt looks like.... Yeah, still got plenty to ponder!

Hoping everyone else is able to get this box easily!
