Could someone please explain to me the logic of buying a thousand packs? I haven't embraced the NFT thing yet and I am pretty ignorant on this subject. I opened all the necessary accounts, just haven't pulled the trigger.

Just like anything that has odds to get a certain item, the more you open the higher chance you have to get it. The Grail for example has a pull rate is 0.3% usually. They range in price from $150 to $500. So opening 1000 packs puts you at pretty good odds to pull multiple grails.

Some people truly enjoy collecting the NFTs… but the “gamble” of pulling a redeemable is always fun! Grails are always what most are going for as they tend to be sub 1,000 pops. Others are collectors of Freddy which what the royalty pop is most of the time, but with anything that people can collect there are flippers who are collecting these and holding onto them for the one day “BIG”’sale/payoff

I've opened over 800 - closer to 900, so I'm hopeful, but I still think it's small in comparison to others.

No problem, I think it's fun to open packs. As of late though, its cheaper to just buy the token when they drop, which takes out all the fun but is a guarantee if you just want the pop.

Ripping packs is like gambling. You get excited if you hit big, but sad if you get nothing. It’s smarter to just buy the token or redemption once it ships. But, I never said I was smart

I have opened 280 and I thought that was a lot until other people started revealing their numbers. It won’t go up by much either, since I have decided to buy what I want instead of buying packs for most of the releases (not all, if it’s one of my main lines or a Freddy set like Halloween, I am all in on packs).

I mean most of the time buying is the best way to go about it. I open 1 pack for each drop and so far I get what I wanted.

The one wallet I mentioned, just likes ripping packs. They also are always hunting the 1 of 1 NFTs with each set. He has pulled 5 or 6 of the 1 of 1s. And those can be worth a good amount. He also sells/trades what he pulls for more packs. So he is not buying all the packs he opens.

I know a lot people who does that, it's risky but I guess they have a stomach for that
