I was so, so excited for this set. Been eagerly awaiting the reveal since this drop was teased in the email last month, but I'd be lying if I said I was still *as* excited for this drop. I think the Black Knight and Phantom Virus are PERFECT. I put together a wishlist/prediction for this drop and included Black Knight, but I didn't think Phantom Virus would be touched at all since he's a more "modern" monster, even though 2001 was 23 years ago. I grew up watching Cyber Chase on repeat, so I am pleasantly surprised he is included. With that said, the other two legendaries just don't do anything for me. They're unique sculpts and creative, but they wouldn't be in my top 30 list of monsters. I think the thing I'm most sad about is no Freddy. A new Scooby monster Freddy was the thing I was absolutely looking forward to the most. Spooky Space Kook Freddy is my favorite Freddy EVER made and Cutler is close on that list. Proto as Scooby makes sense, but I'm simply not a big Proto or Franny fan. The Freddy royalties have always been my favorite part of these drops. Still going to grab some packs and hope to keep my monster set complete, but I don't think this drop comes close to the first series.

Exactly. Objectively it's a solid lineup. Four new monsters, a new Scooby sculpt, and a creative royalty. Just not my first picks.

The phantom virus brought so many memories back of watching the movie as a kid all the time will definitely need to pick this one up

I was actually saying like 3 days ago they should make a Proto as Scooby-Doo for fundays and low and behold they made it for NFT’s instead which I’m completely fine with, I guess it’s time for me to start collecting the cards again

I do believe, at least with Scooby, it'll sell out. As for value, i cant see these being worth more then $25-$30 value in the end, but it should definitely feel like a W when cracking one. Should deff be a bunch more packs with a redemption card in them now.

I mean legendary are generally $25 (for non popular IPs) upto around $75 or even $100 for more well loved stuff. And figure on average these ultras will be 3× more common.
You're gonna see people hitting 2 or 3 of these in 1 pack (not often but itll happen)

That's what I was thinking, just with other costs coming up. I'm still hoping there is a Proto the dog in the box of another character...or a pirate theme one given out. A flocked Proto pop I think would be a first so that would be cool!

I think maybe over time. I really believe that people get really excited when they pull a redeemable. Makes it seem worth the chance of opening a pack. I am all about getting this to be more accessible for users!

The redeemables on this set are fantastic! There is so much potential for the third series (not to get ahead of ourselves). Super excited for this drop. I bet it sells out given those pieces.
