Re: Droppp exclusives are a pain
Star Wars was my first droppp exclusive and I haven't gotten around to selling my extras because of the kyc. I know most legit crypto sites require it, it's just a pain to deal with the pictures.

So much easier to purchase on the marketplace

I’m hoping their marketplace gets better being able to do multiple listings at once is in the works but the 5 cent minimum is what I truly want them to fix

You can’t buy or sell right away through their market. They don’t allow pricing that’s not to the penny, which means a ton all sitting at the same minimum price. Listing in general is a pain because you can only list one at a time.
I love opening packs but I think today’s release will be my last Droppp exclusive.
I’m in nyc so I can’t even put anything on the market
Yeah it sucks for some state and country
I wanted to put my redeemable back to the future on the market when it was going for over $300 but couldn’t because of the state laws here

Droppp Exclusives can only be bought and sold on the Droppp Marketplace. There is no transfer. XD
My 2 biggest gripes are purchasing USDC and the fact that they need a cart feature so I can do small batches.
Agreed. My only other gripe is the .5 minimum to purchase/sell but I'm okay with it as well since I don't believe their are "fake" listings on Droppp as of yet.
I would think you shouldn't see any fakes on droppp's side, since they only allow funko nft's currently. Not allowing other people the ability to upload their nfts onto the market place.

My only problem with droppp exclusives is getting the usdc. Sometimes it takes too long and it's quicker to just buy something on AH, transfer it to my droppp wallet and sell it there. Making it the lowest listing so it sells quick too

I ended up buying a handful of premium star wars packs with the thought of selling them for usdc! That way I could avoid going through the other avenues of getting usdc

I might do that with the next droppp exclusive. I've sometimes seen prices a bit cheaper for redeemables on droppp so it'd be nice to get lucky there as well

This what I've been doing since TMNT, though this is only ok if the packs prices is slightly higher otherwise your taking the hit with the fees

Don’t like Droppp exclusives. I have so much wax I’m saving for future lines I like. I really hope the BTTF second series is not exclusive.

it doesn't make sense to make it Droppp exclusive if series 1 is not.

Unfortunately any disney/marvel/star wars will be locked like this
Disney got the idea from veve nfts where everything from them will always be locked to the platform without interoperability.

Would you rather deal with AH? I think I had around $250 worth of wax, which dropped to $150 a week later :/

I agree. To me, AH is the worse option. It does allow cheaper purchases, but having to buy Wax and take the risk of the value swinging wildly is a major pain. I don't buy Wax until I have to, but just getting Wax into my AH account is more trouble than it should be. And selling on AH is terrible. Unless they changed something recently, you can only put up 2 listings at a time without paying to list more. Nothing about AH is user friendly.
I don't love Droppp's minimum price, but I appreciate the ease of use the Droppp marketplace provides and I love being able to list as many items as I want.

I gave up on trying to figure our the AH way to sell, just rather use facebook pages to sell epics and trade within people the missing cards

Its more about disney wanting to have somewhat control over where their nfts are sold. They dont want their IPs hitting markets like opensea where its basically the wild wild west. Funko/droppp & veve being non custodial wallets, give disney the ability to more carefully monitor all that.

The nickel minimum is really the only thing I dont like but unfortunately that's enough to turn me away from using droppp as the platform. I can't move anything under a rare because a nickel is too much.

On the bright side at least we can send them between droppp wallets. Veve you can only sell through their marketplace, no transfers from 1 to another, disney wants their 6.5% market fee

I had to go through Crypto.com, and while it took a few attempts, I finally figured everything out. I do wish you could just use a credit card on the Droppp marketplace, but with it being NFTs I know there are some challenges with that.

I really do love the thrill of opening packs. I don’t like taking the chance of spending a lot of money and getting nothing at all. I have been fairly lucky with the drops that I’ve gone for but it’s cost more than I’d like too

It's not the most straight forward, but there are a lot of videos on youtube that explain the process. There one guy that I follow and watch named NerdUniteUS on twitch and youtube. He has a great video explaining how to add USDC to your Droppp wallet.
