I look forward to this. I think this is a great way for Funko to test out if creating a new SKU will work. I bet they will try it for the Scooby Doo one too, but maybe that Mythic Pack will not contain a guaranteed redeemable?

However, if it doesn't contain a redeemable... it would definitely not be worth $130. IDK

I am really interested in the Mythic Freddy, but 10" is tough. I am having a hard enough time with the Deluxe Star Wars redeemables!

I was pretty lucky with the Star Wars drop. Only drop I ever got a grail in. But I am a big Star Wars fan, so was about time. I did terrible with the April Fools drop, and am still thinking if I want to do this Mythic drop. I probably will at least try.

Yeah, agreed that the amount is too much without a redeemable but 10" is also tough to in terms of space. Although it did look nice and in some way an alternative for mecha "gundam" pops lol

Hopefully this opens the flood gates to different types and scales of NFT redeemables: 6", rides, towns, multi-packs, etc.

I didn't do any research, but I wonder if they capped the mythic to one single purchase. My thought is, if someone wanted to buy a mythic pack + standard/premium packs in one single transaction. Just like they cap the $60 price point per purchase, I wonder how that will work with the mythic pack.

The price point it what's tough for me. I mean I do t have room for the freddy but to come out also with zero redeemable woukd hurt. That's why it's like gambling I guess

It’s a MAJOR gamble. Since I don’t collect Anime or Funime it’s going to hurt when a fandom I collect runs into this. :mir1:

I have seen on twitter that the thinking is she will be some sort of Sailor Scout. Not necessarily a specific one, but a generic Funko-version of one

I think that issue was solved. The first batch of Pops shipped with the new sorters were not in good shape, but they seem to have fixed that. I haven't seen any widespread damage, and all mine since then have been in good condition.

They definitely have improved the shipping, and also the boxes the Pops are in seem to be glossy and higher quality. I also like the foam insert as it protects the plastic of the box from scratches as well.

I hope I am lucky enough to get through the queue quickly to secure a mythic pack. I was expecting them to set the price point higher, considering Project Fred was $299 and Jumbo Chan will be $250. That makes $130 seem pretty reasonable.

That is a great point. A limited 499 piece for $130, with a chance to get additional legendaries and grails via the NFTs, seems to be a good option. It is just going to be a challenge getting in quick enough.

It will be so interesting to see the queue for this release. Will be similar to back in the day the craziness of the NFT drops selling out. Definitely hope they bring more Mythic packs to future releases. Although maybe not 10” Freddys for all of them!

I don’t think it’s a gamble considering you get a 100% chance of a redeemable if you manage to get the mythic pack
