Hot Rod Chet!
I'm spilling the beans
This Spastik was made for the Wobbler King. He made it for a buddy who does a cool car show in there area. I spoke with the Wobbler King and he has a few set aside for the collectors. So we will be able to get are hands on them. I would email the wobbler King to get in line for one.

Rockabilly Chet UPDATE!
OK, I just got the scoop from Mike Paquin, here are the details as best as I can remember them (I should've taken notes!)...
First off, he apologized for not responding to any emails yet, but he is frantically working on packaging the Chets for the show. He said that they will be in the clear celophane similar to the ComicCon Glow Pulpo and Popup Devil, and that the cardboard header art is fantastic!
Chet himself is the same color, but his jacket is black with a white stripe, and his pants are blue. The helmet has some sort of imprint, I forget what, exactly, but it is the initials of the show for which he is being made, something like HHRC (Hotrod Hoedown and Rockabilly Classic). Mike said that he is officially being called Rockabilly Chet, but that the name is merely derived from the show name, and that he really has nothing to do with Rockabilly, that he is "really" Hotrod Chet.
The production number is 350, of which 100 are set aside for funatics. He specifically asked me to tell everyone that those who have already contacted him by email are guaranteed to get one, and that he will drop in ASAP to post his official announcement, possibly with some pics.
I can't wait to see this Chet, Mike's description sounded great! He was literally surrounded by Chets as we spoke, he has 7 cases from China sitting in his living room, so be patient, he is working to get them out to us!
He also raised my hopes that we'll see Jolly Olly Orange and Freckle Faced Strawberry before the end of September, but no promises were made.
Ron, thanks for pointing us in the right direction with your tip, and Mike, if/when you read this, thanks for sharing the details and the excitement with me, it was great talking with you!

FYI, From TWK
"Okay folks, so here is the info so many of you have requested….
Spastik Plastik Chet Hot Rod Hoe Down Variation (Rockabilly Chet)
FYI: The “Hot Rod Hoe Down” is a cool annual show for hot rods,
car culture, motorheads, tattooed nuts, music lovers, vendors, and more.
My good friend, The Professor, runs the show, it’s a HUGE undertaking, and he does it mostly all himself AND out of the goodness of his heart. He could make a lot of money on the show, several thousand dollars minimum, but basically breaks even every time. He does it cause he loves the show and the people and wants everybody to have a great and super affordable day.
He keeps admission FREE and even entering a car is only like $10!
Anyway, we talked about doing a special Wobbler over the years, but the minimums just wouldn’t work within his budget. We ordered 350 pieces, but FunKo working in dozens and 48’s, actually made 7x 48’s, so there are only a TOTAL of 336 pieces made, that’s it. Most of the figures, will be used to promote the show and some will be sold at the show to try and recoup the cost of producing them, for my friend.
The air express shipping from Hong Kong DOUBLED the cost of the figures, but they were well worth it. This is a great Spastik Plastik FunKo variation, produced in a very low edition quantity, and even made affordable for you FunKo Funatics!
However, I am only keeping 100 pieces to service the Funatics, which is where I get my investment back and even maybe make a little cold hard green. Since they had to be aired in the figures cost us quite a bit MORE than a usual Spastik, but we’ll still make it all work!
They will be sold on a first come first served basis. I am limiting them to 2 per person until or unless they start flying, at which point I will likely have to drop it to one piece per person. I want to move them quickly, but I do want as many folks as possible to get a shot. The price will be $19.99 and INCLUDES the shipping, so that is the total price, hence 2 pieces will run $39.98 and again INCLUDE shipping to you in the US, $2 more in Canada, and $5 additional for our other foreign friends.
Everyone who has emailed this past week, is already on the list. You will need to reconfirm though and make payment arrangements. So YES, you ARE in the system, but I can’t hold the orders for long. The pieces will be ready to start mailing on Tuesday (as Monday is the holiday!) and any that are paid for in the next couple days will go out in that batch.
It looks like it may end up being the whole hundred as 25 have been spoken for in the last 24 hours! FunKo produced some additional artwork, that was to be used as an insert card for the figure, but it was scrapped. The artwork IS being used though, on Shirts and posters, if all works out. I’ve got a call in to my friend to confirm that it all came together. I will try and get shirts for folks who want to buy them and can probably throw in posters for Funatics at no additional charge! I’m not 100% sure on the cost and availability. I intend to get a few dozen for folks who want them, as I’ve already had inquiries. "
Thanks Mike!!!

the music's pretty cool, too... definitely worth a listen, all you punkers out there.

Dude... I saw these guys at Warped this year! :_r
That was weird. I was looking at the website, and saw pics of the kid in his silver suit and Chucks. I was watching them at the smallest, dinkiest stage (well, it didn't even have a stage, just a few milk crates for the leads to stand on), all while waiting for the Phenomenauts to go on. I guess this makes two bands I've seen that have had exclusives with Funko.
I didn't even realize they had inked a deal with Funko... well, then again, how would I have known? :P

I don't think there's been any order info yet, Wacky Nut. We'll just have to wait 'til the COF sees fit to let us know about it.

Cool Piece
This certainly looks like a cool piece. I imagine that it will be tough to get ahold of.
