I got my Maud and Cheese the other day, but I'm pretty underwhelmed with this wave Maud is such a simple design and her outfit hides her cutie mark :/ As for Cheese he isn't a fav character of mine and his design isn't very interesting either. I'm most pumped for next wave!!! Also question for anyone, how come Cheese and Maud aren't at HT yet?

I'm guessing you ordered from Popcultcha? I figured the issue with this wave would be the simplicity in the designs of the characters they chose. I'd also like to know why this wave hasn't hit Hot Topic yet...

I'm tempted to order from Popcultcha. The shipping isn't nearly as bad as I was expecting, but the possibility of getting the figures on sale + free shipping to Hot Topic is enticing...

Either way, I'm not excited about Maud or Cheese Sandwich. They look good, just two characters I'm not crazy about.

if you aren't super excited for them. i say hold off. this way you can save on shipping costs. I think shipping time is about 8-10 days (it can vary) but why spend the extra money when (hopefully) they will be out in the US soon.

Yeah, that's why I haven't done it yet. I'd rather save money on these two.

Crazy that there hasn't been any word on a US release for them. Popcultcha has had them in stock on their site for a little while now, right?

No HT stickers on mine, though I'm sure Popcultcha would have removed the stickers, even if they had gotten them with one. Also I think HT adds the stickers at their end and figures are not coming with them from Funko (but this is pure speculation from my part).

I think that's true-

Also- I'm not positive, but I think Hot Topic "exclusivity" may only apply to the U.S. Which is probably why Popcultcha (which doesn't really market to US) can get them.

I hope Nightmare Moon and Chrysalis hit soon... it worries me how late Cheese and Maud seem to be to Hot Topic (does it mean NM and CHrys will be even later ??)

I feel like we won't see Chrysalis and Nightmare Moon until after we get Maud and Cheese Sandwich, but what the heck is the hold up on them being sold anywhere else aside from Popcultcha? This is getting a little ridiculous. :-k

Has anyone seen any of these in stores yet? Maybe they will actually sell them the week of Thanksgiving like the Celestia/Luna wave last year? Hopefully they won't have the port issues like they did then.

I am thinking that HT is not putting the ponies on their website early so people cannot place bulk orders anymore. I am sure we will see a post from someone from the West Coast who will have found the next wave of glitters soon. As soon as someone sees that I can start a new list for the glitters!

As long as they ship them Monday or Tuesday, I should be fine, since the strike is planned to start on Thursday. Of course there have been illegal postal strikes happening during last couple of weeks too, so nothing is certain.

HT is having serious supply issues isn't it? Are there shipping strike issues again? Maybe.

I am going to keep an eye out for Chrysalis and NM on Popcultcha, even if it does cost more.

No idea what HT is doing.. maybe they decided not to pick these two up. Have some extras if anyone is interested in buying a pair off me.
