MLP Vinyl Discussion (Funko please bring back the Vinyls!)

Any pony else want a Coloratura vinyl after today's episode?

I can't believe preorders for Maud and Cheese have not gone up...only 5 more weeks until the holidays! Another bad sign is that my usual HT location has zero MLP vinyls at the moment so I guess I'll have to ask next time what happened to all the CMC's that were there a few weeks ago.

The two HT's nearest to me.also have zero MLP figures as of now, not even pony Pop! figures, so I'm kinda over it. And I still can't justify buying two figures for characters that I'm "meh" about for full price from Popcultcha. I NEED a sale from HT, especially after all the money I've spent on Rainbow Dash hikari. lol

Still haven't seen the new episode, maybe later today. MLP is sorta on the back burner for me due to its lackluster episodes lately.

Thanks Andrea! Rara would make a cool figure but which version? I'm very pumped for the finale I decided to watch the commercial and I am very excited! Season 5 hasn't been as good to me, (besides a few episodes) as Season 4 was had more episodes I enjoyed, so hopefully the finale will redeem for me!

Ooooh, I loved Coloratura/Rara, she'd make a gorgeous Funko figure, either version... but there are still others I'd like to see more (seriously, why haven't we gotten Zecora yet? *fumes*)

This episode redeemed season 5 for me. Here's hoping for an amazing finale!

It is odd that Cheese and Maud seem to be only available in Australia right now. A few weeks or a month in advance of the US would be reasonable I guess- but it has been months now right?

But then, it did take forever for Spitfire and Sweetie Drops to get a wide release, so maybe HT just hasn't been ordering?

No clue whats going on I'm at a loss for this one, maybe they did some research and thought they would skip to the Chrysalis and Nightmare wave since they think it will sell better? I for sure don't think Maud and Cheese are HT Pre-release theres no way its been like over a month! Also funny they used my picture on there listing.

I'm worried a bit more now for future releases...stopped by another HT today, one where the MLP vinyls have usually been slow sellers but now all they have is a lone Blue Discord on markdown. Plus I see other Funko products, namely the Vinyl Sugar Dorbz on severe markdown to $5-7.

At least the minis at HT and TRU seem to have done well as I've seen sellout/restock at all my local stores.

All the cutie mark crusaders have been on clearance at the local HT for weeks. They are now tucked under a shelf on the floor. Every time I ask about new ponies they have no idea.

Maybe the year long hiatus hurt sales :T My Hottopic seems to think they're not popular anymore... I don't think they realize that those are the only reason I started shopping at their store, if they drop them, I really don't have much of a reason to go there besides the occasional exclusive pop (which have become a pain to get)

Man I hope HT hasn't dropped MLP Funkos. I hate the thought of having to rely on random B&N stock (they only ever carry a few at a time) or comic shops (none particularly nearby)

We should all call our Hot Topics and ask them to please carry the Funko MLP! I think that kind of thing actually does work...

I contacted HT through their facebook page about whether the HT stores will be getting Cheese, Maud, Nightmare Moon or Chrysalis.

They said they don't know ...

So it could be they didn't pick up the newer pony vinyls. Maybe the last wave of vinyls weren't profitable (after all of the returns for quality or people taking advantage of the online ordering only to return at local stores) so they decided to skip future waves.

I sure hope they pick up NM and Chrysalis at least...

Good to know! I have to head up to the mall tomorrow to pick something up so I'll stop by HT and see if Cheese Sandwich has made an appearance there. I have $5 in rewards there, so that'll be nice.

Just bought Maud from my local HT! They had Cheese as well and just received both of them today.

Also they come with the HT prerelease stickers.

Enjoyed the season finale btw. Great to see Chrysalis and NMM again and that Sombra war was awesome!

Yes the season finale was the best episode this season. Hopefully NM and QC sell well so we can get a Sombra and Tirek.
