Funkovsion
Hey,
I'm a new funko collector and I was wondering the history of funkovision sets - are they available? Do they still make them? How can I get them?

Re: Funkovsion
They have not been made for several years, as the line has been discontinued. You can still find some of them on EBay and some small online retailers may have them. They were produced in runs of either 1000 or 1500 and they are getting harder to find and more expensive as time goes by. They are also a little heavy and cost more to ship.
They are however some of my favorite Funko pieces as the characters are incredible and very colorful. You can remove the pieces from the TV sets and display them on their own. whatever your preference they are great piece of Funko!!

Thanks for the info - I've been researching them in a lot of websites and as you said they are getting expensive. I discovered them too late

I would have been soooo happy to have different vinyl sculpts on the Huck and Yogi in the Gemini exclusive funkovision, but just happy to have a Huck/Yogi funkovision, even if they are the regular wobblers.
I still hope to one day finish getting all the Looney tune funkovisons, but they've been a bit pricey for my taste

Haha WOW, really?? I never bit the bullet on one because the shipping for one to SG is ridiculous! Although I've recently found out popcultcha has them so I may get myself one in the near future. Hopefully they have better shipping for them than some eBay listings I saw!

Re: Funkovsion
This is one of the older lines that I've strongly considered getting into as they look amazing. How does the door open? Does it just pop off or hinge somewhere I can't see?

Re: Funkovsion
The "door" doesn't open...there is a cardboard back on it that you can pull up and off of the set...the figures are secured from the outside bottom of the set, you can turn the toggles to release the figures and take them out of the set if desired.

I love these pieces, they just take up a lot of display space.

I know exactly how you feel; I started late as well. With patience, most of your wants will be available. Whether or not it's affordable, well, that's a different issue entirely.

Thanks Scotty, I know when it comes to money it is an issue - once you buy one wobbler you want to keep buying more and more...hahaha. I definitely want to get a hold of those giant huckleberry hounds in different colors , I don't think they are available anymore and it seems nobody wants to sell them.

Re: Funkovsion
Several of the Huck banks are at the top of my 'want list' but you're right, it will take a miracle to shake any of them loose. Their production numbers are very low, between 3 and 9 depending on the color and version. You have great taste, though
