Vans/Journeys Vader & Fett exclusive figures

I can't decide which shoes to get! They're all so awesome. I really wanted the Stormtrooper slipons, but apparently they aren't being made in adult sizes.

Still waiting on mine, but I called Journeys and they assured me I will be getting the figure with my shoes. Which is good, because I didn't want to have to storm their HQ to get steal them.

We got one of the pairs of shoes we ordered... but my shoes and our figures are on "backorder" It can;t be the shoes because they're in stores now. I'm getting impatient!

I went to 3 different locations and no one had any clue what I was talking about. In San Diego it seems the stores don't have the figures in-stock.

Since I don't need another pair of shoes, I broke down and went straight to ebay for my Vader and Fett. I think I overpaid a little for Vader, but scored a deal on Fett.

Also, I'm of an age that going into a Journeys or a Hot Topic creeps me out. I feel so very, very old.

I went into the Vans store to get my Fett's and they said they never got any figures,. The guy there told me there's another set of designs coming out in September, but I don't know if they'll still be shipping out the figures with them for online orders. They did give me a leftover Beatles mug from their last in store promo, so that's cool.

I hope there's new figures with a new release. I like the style and the figures are really well done. If they do more, I'm fairly certain one would be a Stormtrooper. For the other....Yoda (in Raybans) or Skate Ackbar.

Brooks and I were in Charlotte NC this weekend for Heroes Con. We went out for dinner and stopped at the mall afterwards. The Concord Mills mall Journeys Store had the Star Wars shoes and the figures. The sales person told us they are the only store in the tri-state area that is carrying them. We each bought a pair of shoes and we each got a figure.
