Bring Back the Blox

I know this is random but I had been eyeing the Ad Icon Blox for I don't know how long but didn't pull the trigger due to shipping costs. I finally said f it and bought Frank, Boo and Count last week and they arrived yesterday

I can't express how much I love these pieces. They are smaller than I thought, which, for me, makes them that much better. The detail and sculpting on these pieces is amaze balls. All I'm saying is, if you've been on the fence about buying one then do it. You will not be disappointed.

I would take out a second mortgage if they brought these back for the HB or animation lines. I just placed an order for the Star Wars and Simpsons lines as well.

The Blox line was underrated. I've been wanting to get the ad icons for awhile now but haven't gotten around to doing it yet.

Unfortunately, I don't seen them coming back

Blox are hugely underrated. I went on a bit of a Blox-buying-spree earlier this past summer don't regret it at all. WE NEED MORE BLOX!

I'm hoping the unboxing of the Blox will ease my OCD about keeping the figures in the box/tubes because the Blox are so solid free of the constraints...thought the artwork and design that went into making the Ad Icons look like little cereal boxes is tight.

I added a couple on to an order I had from Gemini, got Batman $3 and Darth Vader $4, and they just arrived in the mail today. They look great but I think my heart is in the Mystery Mini line. Just the same for the price and with Christmas coming I know I can find a relative who will appreciate them as gifts. Gotta say though that the cereal box monsters in the OP bring back a lot of childhood memories so maybe I'll add a Frankenberry (my personal fav when I was mowing that cereal down as a child) onto my next Gemini order.

Some worked better than others. Batman and Joker weren't executed well compared to some of the Star Wars and Disney pieces. Fett was cool.

I've been thinking about getting into the Blox, but have thus far resisted - which is what I did for years before sliding into a deep Pop! addiction recently. This thread might just be the one that pushes me over the edge, so thanks for that, you guys! That noise you hear is my wallet screaming for help.....

I recently got the SW blox as an add-on to Gemini order too, and I'm looking forward to displaying them OOB on the wall like 3D art. I love their expressions and how they show some attitude. The Sully SDCC ones are also calling to me, I'm sure I'll give in with my next Gemini order haha!

From what I understand, the Blox line totally tanked for Funko. I think they're fantastic, and I've loved them since I first saw them. I don't think they're as appealing to the non-collector type though, which is why Pop! has done so well.

I took the plunge - boy, did I ever take the plunge!! Lol I bought all the Blox I could find except the Ugly Dolls, as I am not into them at all. They are so very worth it! Absolutely adorable, and very well made. I am sad to hear that Funko may not be making any new ones.
