Vinyl Idolz Base

Postby Sgt Sarcasm » Fri Oct 09, 2015 10:44 am

I bought my first Vinyl Idolz last week, White Goodman to be specific. But when putting him on the stand I had massive trouble. It felt like the pegs were far too close together and I thought something was going to snap. Is this a regular problem? Or did I just get unlucky?

Other than that I love it! Can't wait to buy up some more, hopefully some NYCC exclusives.

yeah it seems pretty tight, with my shaun of the dead idolz i thought it would snap, but no such bad luck, i guess the vinyl is sturdy enough

Had the same thing happen with my Back to the Future Idolz, only the pegs were too far apart. At first, I thought you were supposed to just stick one foot into one of the pegs, but my OCD was driving my nuts, so I ended up just CAREFULLY stretching the legs to make both feet fit in both pegs.

It's a weird design, but it keeps the figures themselves SUPER sturdy. I can't wait to get my Bloody Shaun and Young Frankenstein Idolz in. This is a gorgeous line.

I noticed this the other week when putting out my Ghostbusters as part of our Halloween decoration... I thought I was putting the figure on the base wrong somehow. it's a little annoying that the pegs don't line up, but everything seemed to work out fine with just using one of the pegs.

The vinyl vixens have the same "problem". But I have them placed either on or around the pegs and they're all fine.

I noticed that too! I just put one foot on the peg left the other out! My luck I'll snap the leg off!
