A Vinyl Find Featuring SDCC Exclusives

I found a box of Flapjack vinyl toys at my local swap meet last weekend. It's a combination of the Spooky Kooky Lee's Review variant and the Symptoms (Headache, Stiffness of Joints, & Depression) variants. There is also a glow-in-the-dark version of Headache, which was the only variation of the variants. I'm a complete noob when it comes to vinyl toys, but I am a collector at heart and I had to figure that a San Diego Comic Con exclusive toy haul was worth picking up. The seller did not have any information, unfortunately, so I am uncertain why there are so many and how they ended up all in one place. Here is a pic of a portion of the little guys.

Thanks! I was pretty intrigued by the box. The only reason I even bothered inspecting was because of the Comic Con Exclusive marketing. When I saw they were numbered, I knew I had to pick them up. The vendor mentioned he had more, so I asked him to bring them the next day. The second haul actually included more vinyl, including the glow-in-the-dark variant. I'm not certain what I'll do with all of them, but they were too cool to pass up.

If you're planning on unloading your find, there are several folks here who can probably help you determine what you have and their current market value. That's quite the haul! Unfortunate for whomever was unloading them at the swap meet, but worked out for you! I don't have anything they offered, but I've been seeing a lot of members picking up some nice finds recently, which is piqued my curiosity about them...

very cool find. I've been eyeing some of the flapjack toys for a while and been meaning to pick up a few. not too sure of the worth of these guys, but I'm sure some of the older collectors can give you an idea.

Thanks fellas. I'm always amazed by the stuff that's out there. My buddy found a SDCC exclusive Metalocalypse figurine set a year or two ago. I thought that was pretty unique. Who knew something like this was still out there!

If I found the equivalent in video games, fairly certain I would have a heart attack. Being so close to San Diego, I'm not surprised this type of stuff turns up though. I also found a convention exclusive light saber replica from the same vendor. Who knows what other goodies he'll have in the coming weeks?

I meant to ask.. Anyone have any theories why there were so many all in one lot? Perhaps they belonged to one of the reps at the booth?

Sadly, I imagine after conventions as things are packed up and loaded, some of these boxes get lost in the shuffle or someone buys leftovers and then forgets about them for years until they're found again. The stuff of Funko-legend for all of us here just a guess though.

Flapjack Toys are always a welcome find! Congrats and lucky you! That was Flapjack Toys very first Comic-Con and they had many many variants.

I actually picked up 20+ more today, including two more glow Headaches. Pretty sure that's the end of the road with these, though.
