It depends on where you buy them. The Sally Rock Candy I bought from Funko HQ was $10 plus tax.

The ones I've seen in bookstores are $9.99, and Amazon tends to be around the same, but the preorder prices on Amazon are always ridiculous. Regular Cruella and Maleficent at $19.99? Lol, time to look somewhere else.

The standard price for Rock Candy is about $10 in most places. Unless you go to Hot Topic.

My plan is to be extra picky moving forward as well, but mostly because of space issues. Daenerys is a huge must-have for me, though. That's the one I am definitely buying before the end of the year, but likely the only one. There's nothing else that has been announced that I'm interested in.

To add on to what everyone else said, I find they are often marked down, especially at stores like Gamestop. Or I add them to coupons like Hot Cash. I don't think I've paid more than $7 for any of my Rock Candy - I was able to score Lady Thor and Captain Marvel for $4.99 each at Gamestop, which were two that I wanted.

Hot Topic "sales" don't feel like a sale, especially when compared elsewhere. For example, 3 regular Pops for $30 can cost you much less elsewhere.

Yeah, I basically hold out for Hot Cash or if they have a 40-50% off coupon (those have been more rare now though).

I get that Hot Topic is a business and needs to make money. The thing is I can choose not to shop there because I can find probably find the Funko products I want cheaper elsewhere. :cheers:

The ones with crazy prices are usually 3rd party sellers. If you dig a little you can usually find the ones sold direct by Amazon with normal prices.
