I ordered this guy because the wife wanted it. I had no interest. It just arrived and I'm blown away. It is pretty freakin' cool in person and I know I'm already all in on this line. Thanks Brian and Funko, thanks.

Plan on getting some of these for sure. Playmobil I loved as a kid. Funko I love now. Combine the two and it's a 100% must have for me. Hoping they turn out some more licenses soon!

Whoa, how big are they going to be? This photo makes Wonka appear bigger than a Pop!

Woah!!! That looks awesome! Honestly wasn't too excited about them when they were announced, so this was a pleasant surprise. May have to pick that up sometime. Thanks for sharing!

You can make out a bit of the La Muerte POP on the right so you can see they are considerably taller than POPs. They have a very sold feel to them also, very well made. Glad I grabbed it for the wife but not happy I have another line to collect.

I thought that was La Muerte! So these bad boys are going to be much larger than the original Playmobile figures, which is surprising...and yeah, they're definitely going to have to shine out-of-box.

Very glad I saw this post! Now I can mentally (financially) prepare myself for those BttF figures $\:D/$

I was amazed at how negative some people were about this line. I think they are brilliant and will definitely be getting the TMNT set. I must say your picture creeps me out a little bit - looks like Willy wants to eat my brains lol

I think some of the negativity is justified. It's a high priority for most collectors to collect things that fit in, both style and scale wise, with what they already have. If you've never collected Playmobil but are familiar with it, these are fine. But if you do collect Playmobil, you want 1:24 scale licensed figures, not 1:12. So while Playmobil is making some fantastic Ghostbusters sets, I know I'm not getting the 6" Stanz and Venkman. That's $30 I can spend on the Stay Puft or Firehouse sets instead.

That said, the larger, licensed figures could be a fantastic way to get children interested in the Playmobil line as a whole. Far better than Operating Room, Policeman & Tramp, or Moose & Wolves, that's for sure. So TMNT and BTTF may wind up better choices than Supernatural or TWD. Unless your kid would love a zombie with a screwdriver in his eye. I was probably that kid...
