Sorry, should have clarified Arloe! This artist made Stranger Things concepts in the Vynl style last year before they got the license, so not sure if it's "ok" to spread that info.

Kibooki does amazing work and it's awesome that he gets to block them out for Funko artists to finish them off! Evil Corp does a lot of things with Funko, too, like those awesome animations for the sub boxes!

Can't wait! These are amazing and I can see why you were so excited about them during the Funkast segment. Has Funko cleared the license for Star Wars on these yet? Can they be made to bobble? Thanks!

I feel like I've seen a cartoon somewhere with the same design but I can't put my finger on it. It probably even isn't in the same style, but either way I think these are quite interesting. I've been getting into the horror line a lot lately so I might have to pick up the freddy and jason pack.

So cool! I'm really enjoying that cartoony aesthetic. I'm a little concerned because I could see myself buying a ton of these, but I'm maxed out on space in my work display and my home displays are gonna be full after SDCC lol

They're very similar to some of the Teen Titans style wise, both comic and cartoon version.

To me, they seem like they are somewhere in-between a Mystery Mini and a POP!? I mean there is nothing wrong with them and I may actually snag the "Masters of the Universe" two pack. Though I am confused why Skeletor doesn't come with He-Man.

When I first saw it, I thought of this: POP size, MM aesthetics/eyes and PlayMobil body (pictured below). This is a dramatization that's simplified but it sort'a makes sense.

Obviously, in reality, this is driven by the amazing work of Kibookied where he blocks them out and Funko artists do the rest. They will look similar to other lines both intentionally (to create cohesiveness and brand recognition - when you see it, you need to recognize it as Funko, even though it's a new line) and unintentionally (because Funko artists just work in that style and that translates to other pieces they do). It is not for everyone and I don't think it is meant to be for everyone the same way POP is meant to be widely liked.

Sounds to me you'll need to either purge some furniture OR start planning out some floor to ceiling display situations! :P
