That super deluxe is dead?

I personally love these! Easily my favorite product Funko put out. Yes the price point was high, they all ended up being blown out at prices way lower than I paid when I preordered but you got what you paid for. When I spent $100 on my first Hikari (even thought I liked them) I thought really, this is $100... when I spent $100 on my first super deluxe I got it and though yes this is what $100 should look like in vinyl form.

If they are truly dead which I believe they are I will miss them and probably have to buy the bait Deadpool just to get one more fix

I'm hoping they aren't dead, but just fyi the Bait Deadpool is pretty awesome. They did just have Batman, and they sold out immediately of the GITD Batman and Green and Red Harley they offered through the store, so maybe that's a good sign.

I hope they aren't. The popularity of the Funko Shop exclusives is a positive sign I would think. The Rocket I have is one of my favorite Funko items in my collection and Super Deluxe can't die until I get a Thanos.

I hope not! The green glow batman is awesome. Maybe if there were more popular characters (like Mickey Mouse or maybe even a Freddy) this line could take off.

I would love for something to spring board this collection but even Hikari has the same high price point and we get many, many release a year. yes they have recently shifted to mini hikari but still the full size is trickling out.

People mentioned the shop exclusives but those were snatched up by Flippers, so they can't really speak for the line itself and it's popularity. Getting one or two new characters in I don't know the exact amount of time so lets say 9 months, no other line is released at that scarcity. Would I be happy with 1 or 2 a year? Sure it's better than nothing.. does getting 1 or 2 with in the last calendar year make me think the line isn't dead. Nope.

I thought I remember hearing that they were planning to slow down the line anyway. But with such recent releases I don't take it as a complete death of the line.

Yeah, more than likely just a pick and choose situation... I don't think there have been THAT many Super Deluxe anyways, right?

I think there have been only Rocket, Groot, Deadpool (with grey variant), Batman (with GITD variant), and Harley Quinn (with red and green variant).

I don't think it's dead. Niche product and will get fewer releases, but i think we will see more

Loved the super deluxe vinyl styles of every character they released in them! Fingers crossed for a new release or an update from Funko on where this line stands.

I really like the super deluxe line, but of the handful of characters that have been released none of them speak to me enough to drop the cash on them. If they put out Wolverine, Shredder, Chewie or Darth Vader I'd pick em up in a second.

Hopefully we haven't seen the last of super deluxe, a new character/mold or two a year would be great.

I have the 100% Marvel collection, and don't regret a dime. Maybe it could come back for $50 at half the size? I wouldn't mind that. Spidey and Iron Man especially would look good as Super Deluxe Vinyls.

Large items don't ever seem to sell nearly as well as the small or standard size ones. I guess it's because of their size and price tags. 9 inch pops came and went pretty quick, we don't have many new XL dorbz (which I really like) and even hikari is starting to go towards the mini size.

I like them and I do plan on getting a Batman and Harley eventually... I don't want it to die but we'll see what Funko wants to do.

I think they are reasonable. Especially when you compare the $80-$100 Super Deluxe to the $10 Pops. The Super Deluxe are heavier, with a different style, and much larger. I only have Rocket and Groot from the clearance shelf, but they were worth every penny and then some.

I love the Super Deluxe I have (Groot)... the style and quality is really a stand-out. Hopefully we'll see something new.

Mickey Mouse would be so cool as a Super Deluxe Vinyl. I hope this line isn't dead. I would love to see more characters and more Harley variants. Even if they do take up quite a bit of space.
