True, but I think there's a huge wasted potential if they don't touch the 50s and before Disney and just go with 90s/2000s
NBC always gets a ton of stuff so I won't be surprised if it comes out around halloween, but the vintage crew should come first imo

I agree with you with that aspect, but I known people who worked at Disney stores and they’ve said “even though we get a fraction of classic compared to the modern (90s-00s) characters, it’s what sells and Disney would rather have characters that sell more than characters that don’t.”

That I especially get for regular merch, but in particular since Funko Soda is supposed to be a vintage-inspired line it makes more sense to have the characters that actually existed in the era this line's aesthetic is going for

Plus I'm still a little annoyed that we never got a single Donald Dorbz while NBC got many variants and random characters. But that's what sells of course

i wonder if soda rides will ever become a thing...not sure how they would get one to fit in the current can. maybe a larger can? or a build-a-fig type deal?

How about Howdy Doody? I just made a thread about making a pop version over in the pop section, but I could also imagine seeing Howdy Doody as a soda figure! Definitely feels like it could fit the 'era' vibe/style :glasses2:

I'm really hoping it won't be a Jollibee Philippines Exclusive like the gold pop! There are a few Jollibee shops here in the US and would love LOVE love for them to sell them too. I would die lol
