Target con - did you get what you wanted?

Alright alright, who got what they wanted? Online or in store?



I was able to get a few things online- Micheal Jordan and darth. In person, capt, toothless, jack jack, 10in wicket, nippet!

I was 5th in line at my store right when they opened and I got Jack Jack, Toothless, Wicket, and Jordan. They did not have Hedwig so I went ahead and ordered online. My Target wasn't organized at all, but everybody in line was super nice and made sure everyone got what they wanted.

I was up at 6, ready to rock but Jordan went from "coming soon" to "sold out". There's no Target stores in Canada anymore so I had to pay an Ebay flippa.

I was 8th in line and my target was nice and you could only buy 1 of each item and a cap of 5 items. I got Darth, MJ, Captain Marvel, Toothless and Waynes World 2 Pack. Was able to get Wicket, Flocked Nibbet and Jack Jack online so I'm happy.

Yup, target con was a success. I only waited in line for 15 mins and was 3rd in line. The employees were ready and organized and everyone walked in and checked out in the order they were waiting outside. It also helped that they had a limit of one exclusive per person. I bought the 10" Jack-Jack, 10" Wicket, gitd Vader, baby nippet and the mufasa box.
I was expecting the worst, but it was actually a pleasant experience (what... did I really just say that about target )

I understand the 1 per but a cap of only 5 items total? That seems a little harsh.

I was able to get what I wanted as well. I really only wanted 10 inch jack jack, but then my impulses got me to get hedwig as well. The best part is I didn't have to wake up early or camp out to get stuff. I just stopped on my way into work. I am going to really have to slow down the rest of this month though because hedwig and jack jack 10 inch was a dent on the wallet. Although, target employees need to be more careful with box cutter. Someone got overzealous with box cutter an did some damage to the two jack jacks they had left. I chose the one that only had a line half way down the top.

I would say first successful target run since the 10 inch mickey. I have all but given up on Target for funko products.,

Grew as a Bulls fan, so I only wanted MJ. Very happy I was able to grab him online!

Got everything I wanted (which was everything but the MJ). Even grabbed a few of the new Return of the Jedi POPs (needed Han, Leia and Lando. Would've grabbed the Emperor but the head placement/spring looked way off).

Had to hit three different Targets to get it all but that's why I burn my vacation days for conventions!! All in all a successful day of shopping.

I woke up to arrive 2 hours early..just me and another person waiting in our cars til 5 mins before opening LOL..by the time it opened, they didn't have anything organized and they couldn't find Jordan..ended up waiting to let them take care of the rest of the customers. Thankfully as it calmed down, they went back to look again and found it. Ended up with Jordan, Vader and Capt Marvel! happy morning! patience and kindness were key! (one gentleman would not give up trying to get multiple of vader even though there was a line..I'm glad the employee stuck up for himself and others and kept it to one per person).

Got everything! We went at 11 this morning just to see what was left, and luckily scored the only 2 we wanted: Hedwig and Wayne's World. So, pretty good con overall haha.

Was able to order Captain Marvel and Vader online, but missed out on MJ. Went to the store about 20 minutes before open and they were passing out numbers. I was #7. Luckily, my store got 12 Jordans, so I was good.

Yep, 6th in line after arriving 15 minutes before it opened. Got my MJ and the Wayne's World. We had to wait for a while because no one had a clue about the releases. Took 6 people to try and find them from the back.

i missed out online and in store. in store i saw a guy grab two boxes and went straight to the register. not sure which ones were in the boxes but he did have 2 of toothless as well.

I went at noon and managed to pick up the only thing I really wanted: Captain Marvel. I would have gotten a Michael Jordan if they had one, but he was gone.

I just don't have room for more 10" Pops (even though I preordered Stay Puft) or I would have gotten Wicket, too.

I did pretty good. I got my baby Ewok. Then when I heard Racheva missed Vader and The Neck missed MJ I snuck out of work and was able to snag them for them

That is good to see. Maybe with all the other MJ pops out there, it will push re-sale value of target con version down.

My Target Con experience was really great. I wasn’t sure how crazy it would be based on comments people were posting so I went and got to the Target by my house at 6am. 2nd in line! Made the wait easy and made my day knowing I wasn’t going to have an issue getting what I wanted.

Manager came out several times to explain the process - we would go in and form the line along the TV wall in the back in the order we had waited in. They had the Pops on two dual level carts all organized and ready to go by the phones and had both registers open. We would get a turn to go and shop the new Pops 1 at a time and he advised everyone to be patient as he knew everyone would be taking their time to check out the boxes and Pops. It was a limit of 1 of each style per paying adult (I liked this as there are a lot of flippers who bring toddlers and infants and want them to count for additional quantities) and he advised that once everyone had a turn and the line was gone them any remaining quantities could be purchased.

8am came around and we ended up with about 22 people in line - a few joined after we got inside and had gotten in place in Electronics. The guy that was first picked out his items and then I got to get mine. Scored Hedwig and Captain Marvel. So thrilled with how it went today!

Went to target suuuppoerrr early and got to be first to pick the best MJ and get everything I wanted otherwise. It was a fun morning. I wanted an extra MJ for my desk at work to go with my other Jordan I have there but no luck.

Convinced myself I wouldn't get any, but I made a trip to Target late this afternoon, and they still had the Titanic 2 pack, which was arguably the one I wanted most, and treated myself to that. Much to my surprise, they had a single 10 inch Toothless left behind the counter. I was SO tempted to get it, as 10 inch Pops are a rarity in my neck of the woods, and I adore Toothless, but I behaved (somehow). Hope everyone was able to get what they wanted!

I know your pain. It is so tough to resist when you have to because of money. I can't say the same thing with hedwig when I went to get Jack Jack.

Stopped in this evening and grabbed the Bombshell box (which was all I wanted from this Funko drop). Love the Batman Pop. Has a great Dick Tracy meets Batman feel to it. Easily my favorite of the Bombshell line so far.
