I love coming back here checking out new displays, my display has gone from out of box all over my house, to in storage boxes, through a move, display 10-12 pops on my desk, to now me building new shelves in my office to display more of my pops, though 1000+ are still in moving boxes. I will update pictures once I get some unpacked. Keep posting all!
That’s awesome! With having that large amount of Pops! do you rotate them or plan on one epic display in the future?
I went from "I AM GOING TO DISPLAY THEM ALL!!"
That was a cool idea when I had 200-300 pops 10+ years ago, but as years went on and my collecting (my wife calls it hoarding dolls but she is 100000% wrong obviously
) Overtime It just got so crazy more and more pops didn't even leave their shipping boxes and when we moved, I boxed everything up in bankers boxes (btw the best way to store pops they fit amazing in them) When we settled into our new place I had a tendency where I was just displaying my Freddy's and TMNT then slowly started to unpack more, but I just don't have the room and don't think I ever will, I enjoy the box art and symmetry of the boxes on shelves so they are no longer outside the box, but I now have 1200+ pops so its pretty difficult to pick what to display which I hate because I like ALL of my pops it seems
.
So right now I have about 80 Freddy's Displayed and some of my cooler looking NFT pops that I like with other pops behind them like layers of a wall so if I am ever bored I can pull out a Freddy and see what's hiding behind it (likely another Freddy
). I just like to keep it very neat looking and not unorganized, like this is one of my shelves, they fit perfect 6 across in these bookshelves from ikea.
upload imageThey will likely stay like this until I move in September where I will have a full room dedicated to my pops/comics/cards. I cant have my office looking to crazy due to zoom calls and such.
