Re: What’s your biggest Funko purchase?
I tend to purchase only what I have extra funds for so that I do not end up in a regret area. I usually buy when my local Funko suppliers or the Funko website is having sales so that I get the most bang for my buck. I love Funko so never a regret when I see these little adorable creations on my shelves.

I picked up almost everything and to be given that large blue Funko bag, I felt accomplishes. Boy did I regret it afterwards.
My second biggest purchase after that is probably Homer and Bart Simpson before they shot up in value after the announcement of more characters. Glad I bought it then even when I considered it to be a hefty price back when.
For me probably some proto purchases years ago from Gemini
Simpson protos?

I paid $200 for a Glowbi Wan at SW Celebration ‘22. The most I ever paid for a single Pop. I’m still not sure the person realized how much they could have gotten for it but I’m not complaining.

One year I was lucky I was lucky to have a 9:30 Funko booth slot, and I was supposed to stick to the list my husband and I had decided on. BUT once.in the booth, I told them I would buy 1 of everything. Hahaha the look on Wes's face when I walked out with 1 large blue bags, set them down and went back to get the other 2 blue bags. Hahaha he was a bit grouchy

So far for me the Highest Funko I paid for was $450 range for Kyoka Jiro Prototype. However a local comic book store has a 36-inch Freddy Funko Statue they got from a closed down Toys-R-Us store and I offered $1,500 for it. They didn't want to sell though

I used to do that. Now i do my research when buying an expensive pop and see if I'm not paying more than what I would if I went into a group and post I'm looking for it

I think that's the best way to do it. It's smart on your side to see if you are willing to go for it and how much you feel you want to spend.

The most cash I’ve ever spent was $800 on a metallic genie. I’ve had grails that were up to $2200, but they were mainly trades or trades plus cash.

“Big” as in size, quantity, or dollars spent?
My biggest regret is probably trying to navigate the SDCC Exhibit Hall with a bagful of precious SDCC exclusives, and not coming prepared with hard-sided pop protectors. No matter how careful you are, there’s always someone careening into you, denting your most-prized pop. Also, not checking for damage before leaving the Funko booth.
I try to remember to purchase stackable hardsided protectors with magnetic closures (if possible and not too expensive), or to at least bring a flat pack of the cheap clear protectors. I wish Funko offered the option to purchase pops in a clear hard-sided protector.
Longtime SDCC attendee and volunteer (since before it moved from the U.S. Grant). Also, charter D23 member and D23 Expo attendee. Looking forward to D23 2024 & SDCC2024. My family and I have attempted to attend Funko Fundays every year but have so far been unsuccessful in our quest.
Please don’t suggest joining Cop-a-Pop. We’re not into cheating or line-cutting. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I had the same issue for my first year at Nycc last year I had no protectors and all my funkos were damaged some were really bad making sure this year I’ll take protectors with me. If funko offered the option for protectors I would take that in a second.

$100 + tax/shipping for Fugitive Toys exclusive flocked Wicket (Star Wars). I collect all Ewoks Pops!, and at the time of purchase, it was the only one I was missing. No regrets for me since I’m an Ewoks fan. And $100, at the time, was a good deal.
