I gotta give it to Funko, it seems like recently they’ve been trying to dig deep on more obscure characters with Some of their anime licenses and I honestly feel that’s the way to go. As much as I love the main characters, when I’m looking at a set I like to see a varied assortment of characters. Heck, I even think some of the best parts of collecting a set is when the obscure characters become rare in the set bc they aren’t the mains that have 100 diff variations,

Yah they def been better at more obscure Characters, like the Ginyu Force but then havin 2 different variants killed it.

i think they are making some secondary characters but imo they are still flooding the market with different variations of main characters too. i think they should make a couple and then make the secondary characters before they come back and make 10 variations of the same characters again. i really like that they moved away from the colored metallic variations. i did not like most of them and did not think they were appropriate for some characters. i felt it was just lazy.

I think anime has always been a top want for funko and collectors. Looking back at things like metallic whis and how crazy that got. The hot topic deku and now with one piece it feels like anything one piece related sells out
