We got a Dr. Frank Poole Pop but is anyone else interested in more 2001: A Space Odyssey Pops?

I have always wanted a Dave Bowman Pop to at least complete the main duo.
Please Funko make Taylor Swift Pops!

Most wanted non-Taylor Pops: Carson Teva, Naru from Prey, The Last of Us TV show

It’s different, but I think it’s a classic, like John Carpenter’s The Thing. I actually prefer 2010, the sequel to 2001.

I wish they could do a HAL 9000, because that would be so cool, his voice was great. Just like "Mothers" voice in Alien. But except for the red light, I don't think HAL was an actual thing, if that makes sense.

I'm not sure how they would do it but that would be awesome. I'm imagining something similar to K.E.V.I.N from She-Hulk. A lights & sound version might be best though lol

Somehow, I completely missed K.E.V.I.N. but that same concept could be used for the HAL 9000

Hal9000 would be awesome. So simple but effective. Just a rectangular box with that red Intimidating light. Also primate with bone would be cool.

I like the idea of the primate with a bone, perfect, and maybe even a movie moment with the monolith. Yes, it is one of my favorite movies, read the book and i think there were 2 or 3 sequels. Love the beginning of 2010 with Dave's voice saying" Its full of stars"

Moments with monolith would be epic. I have a hal9000 ornament that was released a few years ago that has audio from the movie. It’s awesome. I remember at sdcc years ago a company made full size interactive Hal9000 pieces, high end stuff. Was pretty epic

There’s a lot of moments that are pretty iconic that they can do movie moments from 2001. Would welcome any of them

Hoping for that amazing piece is one of the reasons I still collect. Chatting about it here on the board and seeing others with the same interests makes me feel good but still not sure that we will get any more.

Anything is def welcome. Though I kinda want a HAL pop.... even though it would be weird in Pop scale/design. Or a monolith pop? Too weird?

Short answer is yes but maybe they make it a Kubrick lineup. There is a lot of potential there for some really obscure and interesting characters.

Never too weird. That’s the beauty of Funko! They take random thoughts and make them into reality.
