Re: Retired POPs
Wow, some of those have been around forever! I didn't realize that the older Disney series were still in production anyway. I've seen Cruella around forever though and I guess just assumed she'd always be there, so I should probably try to pick her up next time I find her. I wonder what the rarity is going to be like on these down the road? I would think we don't really have the next Riddler or Penguin in there, since some of these have been available a lot longer and I would think that a lot of people that want them already have had a lot more chances to get them.
Looking for:
Chase Robin
Chase Wonder Woman
Chase Batgirl
Error Batman
The Riddler
The Penguin
Two Face

Re: Retired POPs
george sanderson has been retired for more than a year now, there was just a sudden increase in supply when disney allowed funko to release the remaining monsters stock. and we learned about jiminy earlier this year at toy fair. but the others are all new to the list.
there's a few that could increase in value over time. NBX has enough fans to make the mayor go up eventually. and it seems weird to retire peter pan but leave tinker bell and captain hook still going... since the name of the movie is "peter pan" and all. but yeah, most of these guys have been around long enough, and had enough produced, that they should still carry 'normal' prices for a good while.
good info, though! it's nice to keep up with the retired list!

Re: Retired POPs
What's the rhyme or reason for which POPs get retired and which ones don't? It seems a little random (to me) and I was wondering what the basis was when deciding which ones to retire or if it's just "Okay, let's retire this one now."

Yeah it does seem weird, though it's also kind of weird that they're showing Peter Pan in cinemas at the moment, maybe they're making an alternate for the Blu-Ray release? (maybe..)

I assume it's a demand issue. IDK exactly HOW companies order them from Funko, but if companies are allowed to order by character, then I would assume Tink, being one of the most favorite characters to be ordered & sold way more often then Peter Pan... And with that new "Jake & The Pirates" show, I can see Hook being more in demand by little kids as well... for the time being at least.
