Here's hoping they don't 'announce' these Marvels tomorrow. Tho I suppose the glams are still desired, so perhaps they come tomorrow.
Then something Star Wars related on Thursday....no???? I mean it is the Fourth...

KINDA WISH THEY DIDN'T DO THE REVEAL. IT WAS WAY COOLER WAITING FOR PICTURES FROM THE SETUP DAY FROM SOMEONE WORKING THERE

I 100% agree with this comment, it was fun when a piece or two got leaked by accident but seeing it all first hand in person was so much better.

Re: Some SDCC Exclusives Revealed
but for someone trying to plan a spending budget, it helps to actually know what's going to be there ahead of time, with pictures. leave the freddys and the fundays stuff as a surprise for collectors, but it's not in the company's best interest to hold back info on the items that'll be available to the public.
i guess it's kinda like having a child... some people like to know the gender ahead of time so they can plan accordingly. others enjoy the element of surprise.

I agree with both of these comments 95%!!! It's fun to be surprised!! But since I'm on a tight budget and not getting the prebuy it is nice to know the pieces I'll be getting so I can plan my spending accordingly!
Got to make sure I have enough for those Freddys!!

I disagree, Kidrobot does the best job and keeping stuff from the public and they are one of the hottest items sold at SDCC. Everyday a new one is sold and every morning you have people running to their booth trying to get a ticket to reline up later during the day to get the piece. Most exclusives at other booths are sold out in 30min after opening. Your comment might be true for regular items but SDCC items are way different. One of the most asked questions at the Funko booth is, "which one is a SDCC exclusive" and the freak when you tell them everything in the booth is an SDCC exclusive! There is no other booth at con that you can find that many exclusives and at that cheap price, most cost at $100 or higher.

I agree also .. but I'm not sure if I'm getting to help set up this year so we might not see many set up pictures ..
I am usually the one who takes them .. then get yelled at to get working faster cause I take too much time taking the pictures ..

well i've never actually been to sdcc, so i guess i can't necessarily speak from that perspective.
but as someone on the outside looking in... i've noticed, both last year and this year, that if you're looking for a list of all sdcc exclusives, many websites don't even bother putting funko on the list because the actual items aren't known. sure, the surprise might be part of the appeal. and those 'in the know' will surely be lined up early. but funko misses out on pre-show publicity by trying to keep their exclusives secret. people are talking about the star wars boba fett. the nes jason. the deadpool taco set.
you could also argue that the secrecy creates a different kind of publicity, which is fair. but if it were me, i'd rather people buzzing about my item which is KNOWN to be popular and desired, and not my secret item which MAY be popular, or could be a dud.
again, it's all just a matter of opinion... in the end, i think we're all happy just to be getting the exclusives in the first place.

really curious about the stickerless stark/rhodes and nondescript sticker on bloody grimes. perhaps this is how funko is letting people know that these are available in other ways, like the international market? they aren't limited to a set number, just limited in general.
